Ceylan jolted up sweating profusely. He had yet another nightmare. He had frequent nightmares before, but these ones were darker than anything that came before. The was only ever one person in and that person was a silhouette, with no visible features aside from glowing purple eyes, these silhouettes always ended up dead in a bloody Gorey fashion.

This got bad to the point where he wouldn't sleep for days and ended up avoiding the other knights. He thought it would help, but he forgot that this avoiding them wouldn't fly with his friends. They confronted him and demanded to know why he was avoiding then and to tell them if there was something on they could do to help. And like the thoughtful person he is, he lied.

He said he was fine, and nothing was happening, and he simply wanted give them space. Guren didn't buy it, and decided to spring a surprise sleepover. If all goes well for him he'll find something out. As usual when he stayed over Guren slept on a mattress set up for him on the floor. Tho he didn't sleep, so he was wide wake while Ceylan ran his fingers through his hair. He starred at him for a moment before speaking up.

"You look like you ran a marathon." Guren said

Ceylan jumped at the sound of his voice, not even bothering  to look at him.

"How long have you been up?" Ceylan asked shakily

"Don't worry about that." Guren said

Ceylan was getting sick of keeping the problem to himself. Guren was always there for him even if he was difficult to deal with. Plus there was no way Guren was going to give up on finding out what's going on.

"...Nightmares.." Ceylan said hesitantly

Guren tilted his head questioningly. Ceylan could see it in his peripheral vision.

"I've been having really bad nightmares. I thought I could find the reason why but..." Ceylan trailed off

"Could it be because of that final battle with Villias?" Guren asked

Ceylan began to think about it.

"It was a big fight. I'd be lying if I said it didn't mess me up for awhile." Guren reflected

Ceylan turned his head to Guren. His expression was somewhere in between confused and realization. Guren stood out like a lilly in a rose patch, and one of his most amazing and endearing features was his sparkling purple eyes.

"You almost died." Ceylan said quietly

Guren raised an eyebrow.

"That's why I'm having those nightmares. I almost lost you in that battle." Ceylan began tearing up

Guren got up and sat beside him.

"But you didn't. I'm still here." Guren put his hand on Ceylan's shoulder

Ceylan grabbed his wrist then proceeded to pin him in a hug. He held on to him tightly while Guren froze, unsure of what to do. Ceylan began falling asleep without a problem. Guren lightened up as Ceylan fell in comfortable sleep. Being under Ceylan, feeling his warmth and the soft bed underneath them, made him realize just how tired he was.

The next morning Ceylan woke up. He soon realized he didn't have another nightmare after falling asleep again. He felt Guren shift a little. His purple eyes beginning to open.

"Good morning." Ceylan said quietly and gently

Guren lightly smiled as he woke up.

"Good morning... Did you have anymore nightmares?.." Guren asked groggily

"No. Apparently you're all I needed to make it stop."

Guren chuckled and and wrapped his arms around him. They slept for another hour before getting up. They ended up staying with sleeping with each other much more after that night. Every time Ceylan slept easier, not having to worry about nightmares.
