My loving distraction (Gen x Ceylan)

Not gonna lie this one is gonna be pretty heavy. I'm gonna be mentioning serious problems in this one, so feel free to skip over this one.

Well it was that time again. Ceylan's rise in self doubt. This wasn't a new thing, but it was a fear inducing time for everyone. These rises in self doubt lead to Ceylan becoming depressed. Which lead to sleep deprivation, starving himself, and unhealthy isolation.

Guren, Chooki, Toxsa and Beni tried they're absolute best to help him. But Ceylan just told them to stop wasting their time and let him suffer in peace. Guren relayed his worry to Gen. Who immediately took action. He showed up to Ceylan's house, knocking calmly. Mrs. Jones opened the door.

"Are you one of Ceylan's friends?" She asked

"Yes, ma'am." Gen responded respectfully

"Thank goodness. He won't eat, drink, or even talk to us." Mrs. Jones said letting Gen in

"I'll do my best to help." Gen said going to Ceylan's room

His door was locked and absolutely nothing was audible inside. This made Gen's heart hit his throat.

"Ceylan, can you come out and at least talk to us?" Gen shouted softly

"Just let me rot." Ceylan responded

This caused Mr. and Mrs. Jones to tear up. The Jones family were very gentle people with hearts of gold and good intentions in mind. But Ceylan was the only one to have a problem like this, and it utterly detroyed his parents every time.

"I can't do that Ceylan. You have people who love you. And they don't want to see you like this." Gen said losing his cool a bit

"If you're just here to lie to me, then leave." Ceylan responded

Mr and Mrs Jones suppressed the urge to cry at this. Gen took a sharp breath in and backed up.

"Mr and Mrs Jones I'm sorry you have to see this." Gen said before kicking Ceylan's door

Ceylan was shocked at this and just about had a heartattack when he saw the look on Gen's face. Gen quickly approached him causing the bluenette back against a wall in terror. Only made worse when Gen got close basically trapping him in place.

"Did I hear you correctly? Because if I did you and I are gonna have words." Gen practically growled

"Why do you care!!?" Ceylan yelled with a sudden burst off confidence

But that flame was quickly put out, as Gen's face showed rage. Ceylan whimpered realizing the situation's intensity. Gen got even closer practically pressing Ceylan against the wall.

"Because I'm one of the people who love you. I'm not gonna let this continue. Your friends and parents don't wanna see you like this. And I especially don't wanna see you like this. You have no reason to doubt yourself the way you do. Ask anyone and they'll say the same thing. At least keep that in mind." Gen said his voice getting softer as he finished

He backed up and went to turn away but Ceylan grabbed his arm, silently crying. Gen pulled him in, freeing his arm to hug him. Ceylan continued to cry silently. Mr and Mrs Jones both watched with hope.

"I'm sorry for everything." Ceylan said his voice wavering

"Stop. I don't want an apology, I just want you to break away from this dangerous state of mind. Or at least seek someone's help." Gen said gently

Ceylan's crying ceased as he rested his head in crook of Gen's neck. He thought about Gen's words. He knew his self doubt will never go away completely. Just like his ordinarily goofy attitude, it was a part of him. But Gen's desire to help made him forget about it all almost completely. Like a positive distraction that truely loved him.

"Gen.. did you actually mean you love me?" Ceylan asked, looking up at with shining eyes

"Of course I did." Gen responded

Ceylan smiled at him. The sadness visible in eyes was now disappearing. Gen kissed his forehead affectionately, causing the bluenette to giggle.

"Feeling better now?" Gen asked with a small smile

"Yeah." Ceylan said lightly

Gen back away giving Ceylan a bit space. After wiping his eye and cheeks Mr and Mrs Jones quickly went over to him and embraced him happily. Mrs Jones mouthed a 'thank you' to Gen who smiled and nodded in response. After about 5 minutes Mr and Mrs Jones let go and Ceylan walked over to Gen.

"Let's go let the others know I'm okay." Ceylan said with his usual confidence slowly returning

"Good idea." Gen said

Ceylan grabbed his hand intertwining their fingers as they walked out. With a bright future for them and their relationship.
