AN: Hello everyone it's me Andrewbird64 coming at you with a new chapter of Endure and Survive in Remnant: The Last of Us and Rwby Crossover!! I know it's been almost five months since I've updated both this and Max Payne 4, but my editor is really busy he has finals coming up pretty soon. Luckily we got this chapter done to show I'm still alive. Yes, I know this chapter is short but there will be more soon. Thank you and have a wonderful day!

Hazel eyes slowly opened, thinking he went to the afterlife. But was greeted by the color green instead. Now fully awake, Joel realized he was still breathing air. He looked down to where his wound was, and it's gone! Even the pain was gone too. Now observing the environment around him, noticing he was in some kind of forest. This made Joel dumbfounded. The last thing he remembered is that he got shot, dying, and Ellie blowing up the house along with the infected so they could die together, leaving the unforgiveable world.

Wait a second. If Joel got blown up from an exploding house alongside Ellie and is somehow still alive, then where is Ellie? Fatherly instincts took over and he frantically began searching forever.

"ELLIE!!" He yelled by putting his hand around his mouth. "ELLIE!!!! Ellie where are you?!" Joel then comes across a small hill and a distance away was Ellie's unconscious body. "Ellie!!" Without wasting time, he ran towards Ellie as if he is running away from runners. He bent down and started shaking her gently while he talks. "Ellie? Ellie? Please wake up!" She groaned from the shaking, and slowly, but weakly opened her green eyes, seeing Joel in her vision. "J-Joel," she said groaning.

After hearing her voice, Joel immediately pulled her into a tight hug, never wanting to let her go. "Oh, God!" Tears were leaving his face, happy to see that she's still alive. Ellie herself was surprised to see that Joel is alive and well right in front of her, but she has many questions. How are they both still alive? How does Joel heal his wounds? Weren't they in a house? Why are they in a forest? She really wanted answers and broke the hug and stared into her father figure before answering.

"How are we still alive to this point? We shouldn't even be breathing ." No one spoke for a good five seconds before Joel broke the silence. " I don't get any clue on what's going on kiddo." He said while rubbing the back of his head. "I'm just as confused as you are, but you're right, we should've been dead by now. The only question is, where are we now?

The duo looked around their surrounding, wondering where on God's name have sent them. They clearly remember their final moments were in an exploding abandoned house in a suburban neighborhood rather than in a forest. There was something off about it though, both felt as if they're being watched. All of a sudden they hear a growl, now on alert, Joel and Ellie pulled out of their pistols and aimed to the direction where the growl came from. They expected one of the infected or some wild animal, but to their horror, came out something much worse. A bipedal humanoid wolf-creature crawled out while bearing its teeth at the two humans'.

"Oh my god..." Joel said to himself from seeing something that is so hideous like as if it was sent by the devil itself (close enough). "WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT?!!" screamed the nineteen-year-old. Never in her life, she encountered something this fucked up.

Not long after Ellie screamed, the beast launched itself towards the two survivors to gut them and devour them. Joel pulled the trigger of his 9mm pistol, sending bullets to the monster, while Ellie did the same with her enforcer. The beast was killed no longer than five seconds and dropped to the ground, not until the corpse started to disintegrate to nothing but ashes. This makes the two of them caught off guard, as their suspicions were very clear now, they weren't on the same planet anymore.

"Are we in Hell?" Ellie asked Joel, but never left her eyes from the spot where the beast once stood there. "I doubt we are," Joel answered honestly. "We're still breathin' and walking. We somehow still have our weapons and gear. If we are in Hell, we would be in the red dark underworld filled with demons, horrible people, hellfire, and Satan himself." "Then where are we?" "All I can say is that we are no longer on earth, at least."

Ellie was about to reply before they were interrupted by not one, not two, not three, but four growls behind the trees. The two felt their hearts dropped and turned to see more of the demon wolves, staring at them with their red soulless eyes, wanting nothing more but to tear the survivors into pieces.

Then to their horror, they began to charge towards them with claws out, and bearing teeth. Joel got out of his stupor and grabbed Ellie by the arm. "Get ready to haul ass!" He screamed and the two started to run for their lives while the demon-wolves gave chase.

Little did they know, they were being recorded by a mysterious hover camera.
