I won't pout and ask:
"Why must all good things come to an end?"
I'll embrace you tight, and say:
"A thing isn't beautiful because it lasts."There are too many sad songs in the world
I say we need more love songs
Our tears outnumber the sad songs
but if we were to love incessantly,
our love would outnumber the rosesWhen our adventure is complete, you remark:
"Whoosah, we should be safe down here."
But I ask:
"What if we can go higher?"the knight in shining armor is to the dragon
as stars in the Saharawe're running out of time,
so let's make our spirits freeI'm the raven that flies above
and you— the wolf that treads gentlyyou're the apple of my eye
