In Monastery, Sensei Wu's P.O.V.

I was looking through spirit smoke to see if I could see anything. Nothing. That was strange. I

took the last sacred flute and put it in a chest. The ninja would need this. I heard the ninja

arguing and yelling at each other. I went in the video game room. Empty. I went out to the

training course. They were all training. My speech must have gotten through them. Suddenly,

Zane took off. He accidentally knocked Cole's Scythe from his hand. Then, used Spinjitzu to

freeze everything. Kai slipped and fell. The whole ground was covered in ice. "This roof isn't big

enough for the four of us," Kai complained. "Correction: This roof isn't big enough for him," Cole

said. "It's like he's in his own world. I BET HE CAN'T EVEN HEAR US!" Jay said. Sure enough, no

response from Zane. "Sensei, Zane's weird," Kai said. "What is weird? Someone who's different,

or someone who's different then you?" I asked. "No Sensei, he's 'weird', weird," Cole said. "We

like the guy, he's really smart, he's just off sometimes," Kai explained. "Zane is a brother and

brothers are often different. I should know," I explained as I was thinking about my brother, Lord

Garmadon.

Still in Monastery, Zane's P.O.V.

I was training when the doorbell rang. "Mail!" Cole, Kai, and Jay cried. They rushed to the door. I

stayed back. Cole opened the door for the mailman. "Let's see," he said. He looked through his

box. "A letter from Jay's parents, Kai has a fan letter, and something from Cole's father," the

mailman said, handing out mail. "What, no package? I'm expecting something from Creatures,

Beasts, and Beyond," Cole said. The mailman dug through the box. "Oh, here it is," he said. He

handed Cole a package. "Ha, Rocky's going to love this!" Cole cried. I decided to walk inside.

"Hey, Zane, how come you never hear anything from your parents?" Jay asked. "I don't

remember my parents. I've been an orphan my whole life," I explained. "You mean you've never

had a home?" Kai asked. I shook my head. "The monastery is your home now," Sensei Wu

said. That didn't cheer me up. I walked inside with my head straight down. I was alone like

always.

Cole's P.O.V.

I went to give my dragon, Rocky, the treat that was in the package I got. I opened the box and

looked inside, and the treat was Liver and toads, Rocky's favorite! "Liver and toads, Rocky, your

favorite!" I said as I took the treat out of the box, and Rocky started panting excitedly. I gave him

the treat, and he gulped it right down. He must have really liked it!

Lloyd's treehouse, Skales' P.O.V.

I decided to see how the ninja were doing. I focused and looked through the black ninja's eyes.
