I've been staying with Yana for a few days now and I had to admit , I was annoyed.

Her new fling , kyro has been staying here too and she made it her business to be in my business.

"So when did you say you were leaving?" Kyro said as she reentered the living room.

I rolled my eyes, " Why does it matter?" I snapped back.

"I'm just asking only because I would love to walk around my house naked again." She smiled .

"My? That's a pretty tough word seeing as though this is my best friend house and not yours." I said back.

"And I moved in with your best friend making this just as much my house as hers." She said while giving me a sly smile .

I looked at her disgusted , " don't even worry about it. I'm actually leaving today. Just waiting for China and Gio to get home from school." I half lied.

I was honestly just tired of her asking. It had been a few days now and I still had nowhere to go. Spring break had just started right in time. So I figured I would let China spend the week with her friend and drop Gio off by his dad's house.

"Good." She said as she exited the room.

I swear I was going to end up putting hands on her.

My phone vibrated a few time before I looked at it . Professor Ivory's number flashed across the front screen. I sighed loudly .

I've been avoiding her . I've been ditching her weekly sessions and rushing out of class before she could even say anything to me.

"Hello" I said softly into the phone as I finally decided to answer.

"I never thought you would answer." Her raspy voice rang through the speaker.

"Me either." I said plainly. I had no desire to talk to her.

The phone went silent.

"Why'd you leave?" She asked almost sounding like she cared.

I sighed , " you was acting strange. I don't want any weird shit around my siblings." I answered honestly.

She hummed, " why didn't you just ask questions?" She replied.

"Ok so explain to me why there's bars on the windows. And who the fuck is berry and why you've low key been doing stuff to me." I asked bluntly.

She chuckled, " I want you to come back." She responded

"For what? So you can be weird some more." I asked.

She sighed , " Berry is someone special to me. She's very jealous. The bars on the window is only for fantasy. Let's just say my home is a fantasy land , it can be whatever you want it to be. And you are clearly making shit up in your head because you lack trust for me. I wouldn't hurt you.. unless you - I wouldn't hurt you."

I paused , " fantasy? What kind of fantasy." I asked confused.

"Oh I piqued your interest? I've told you the truth. Now come back ... now." The way she said now sent chills down my spine and into places it shouldn't.

"I'm going to drop my siblings off and I'll come over . Ok?" I said as I rolled my eyes.

"Good , see you later." She said before hanging up.

I don't care. Jax is still strange but her mysterious ways made me want to know more.
