Heartache

      Ruby woke up with a dull ache in her heart. Though she thinks nothing of it and goes through her morning routine and heads to the shower. When she got out she finds that Blake and Yang are already awake and Weiss is the only one still asleep. Ruby got finished readying she noticed that Weiss was still asleep so she went to gently wake her up. At Weiss's bed Ruby gently nudged Weiss awake. Slowly Weiss opened her eyes in the most adorable way causing Ruby's heart to flip.

     "Um. Weiss it's time to wake up." Ruby says gently.

      "Huh? Oh okay" Weiss responds with a cute yawn.

      After Team Rwby got ready they went to the dining hall to eat. Sitting at their normal table they idly chat and eat with Jnpr. Ruby doesn't notice she's staring at Weiss until Neptune decides to sit next to Weiss and flirt with her. That scene causes Ruby's heart to ache again. Seeing Weiss giggle at something Neptune said caused Ruby to suddenly have a coughing fit. Everyone stops their conversations to look over at Ruby worriedly. Ruby tries to block her coughs when something lands in her hand. white rose petal. With everyone staring Ruby says that she's fine while putting the petal away.

     She doesn't notice that 4 other people saw the petal and were giving her concerned glances.

     At class Weiss decided to sit next to Neptune instead of sitting next to Ruby where
she normally sits. The ache in Ruby's heart doubles at the sight. Ruby feels a pain in her lungs and starts coughing again. Everyone else ignores it but the same 4 people. Looking down at her hand Ruby notices multiple petals this time and a drop of blood. Around her the 4 people who saw her hand started getting even more worried. After class one of the people confronts Ruby about it.

     "Hello~~" Pyrrha calls out to get Ruby's attention. Ruby looks over to see Pyrrha waving with a slightly concerned look.

      "Hi? Do you need anything Pyrrha?" Ruby questions.

       "Are you ok?" Pyrrha answers with a different question.

       " What do you mean? I'm fine."

       "The petals and the blood didn't indicate so." Ruby's eyes widen.

       "How did you know?"
