chapter 5

{Fiona's POV}

Marshall flew out of the window and I was confused as ever. Ugh! I don't know what to think. I went up the stairs with my head hanging low and went and fell onto my bed almost crying.

"Fiona, honey it's time for your date with gumball!"cake called for me to come get ready.

"I'm coming!" I replied back running down stairs quickly.

"Stand here honey." Cake commanded while fixing my hair.

She took my hat off then put a bun (using my hair) on top of my head, and applied pearls around the bun. Next, she put on my mascara then light blue eyeshadow and blush, then she was finished with my hair and makeup. All she had to do was my dress. I put my blue dress on, it was strapples at the top and started to curve out like a bell at the bottom. then cake pulled a pink ribbon around the front part of my waist and tied a big bow on the back of my waist.

"Alright Fiona, we're all done." Cake said as she turned me towards the mirror.

"Wow! Cake you did a great job!" I said as I gave cake a big hug. I started walking towards the door, Gumball was waiting outside for me on Lord Monochromicorn.

"Mmm....mmmm sugar go rock those ruffles!" Cake said to me as I opened the door.

"Wait, cake I want you to come with me!"I said dragging her along with me.

"Hello Fiona, hello cake." Prince Gumball was there to greet us.

"Who's this good looking fellow right here?" Cake asked gumball.

"This is your date, Lord Monochromicorn." Gumball replied to cake.

"Come on Fiona, hop on my back." Cake insisted.

"Fiona I bet I can beat you to marshmallowy fields!" Gumball challenged me trying to keep my adventurous personality going.

"Oh no you won't!" I accepted his challenge.

           One minute later

"Fiona, I can't run any longer!" Cake said breathing heavily.

"Gumball! Cake's tired could we ride along with you?" I asked, gesturing for gumball to turn around.

"Sure, hop on." Gumball said helping me and Cake up onto Lord Monochromicorn's back.

I reached my hand up into the cloud, with astonishment. We finally arrived at marshmallowy fields. Gumball laid a blanket on the ground reaching out for my hand.

"Come on Fiona sit beside me." Gumball said, patting the ground beside him. He pulled a pinic basket out, also pulling food items out of the basket.

"Fiona would you like a sandwich?" He asked.

"Yes, please." I replied trying to be polite. Then he pulled a small object out of his pocket. I couldn't quite comprehend what it was yet.

"Fiona?" He asked, blushing. I couldn't really tell that he was blushing, because he was already pink.

"Yes, gumball." I replied, trying to make him get to the point faster.
