I took a deep breath as I shifted a bit. I heard a weird creaking outside the room, which woke me up a little more. I sleepily opened my eyes, as I listened to the creaking as it stopped.  The room went silent, as I looked over at the door. The room was a pitch black, except for the moonlight that peeked through the window. The army was sound asleep, unable to wake up to hear the noise. No lights seemed to be peeking through the door, which was strange. "Must be the Sanada army," I said as Tokuichi perked his ears up. I looked at the tan monkey as I scratched his ears. "It's ok boy. I'm fine" I said, as I petted him.  He wagged his tail happily as to accept the ear scratching.  I sighed as I looked back through the window. I saw a dark sky, along with the dark green grass and the woods in the background. I saw the army's horses that were standing near the entrance, their heads dropped and swishing their tails back and forth as they slept. I yawned as I closed my eyes and went back to sleep. I focused on my breath as I kept my head more towards the window, feeling the cool night breeze on my face.  For sleeping at a strange place, I slept quite well here.  But that could because of the army, my family was with me. I knew that dad wouldn't let anything happen to me here. I yawned a big yawn as I fell into a dream filled sleep.

A baby girl peeked her head up sleepily as she lied in her bed. She was wrapped up in a pink blanket, except for her arms that were easy to lift up into the air. A little teddy bear was sitting in the corner of her bed, as to watch her sleep. The baby looked up as she studied the moon's glow and the bright lights that twinkled around it to make a little scenery, something the child would enjoy to watch. She cued as she reached to grab the moon, but was unable to touch it.  Footsteps walked up as a figure peered over her crib. It was a shadow of a man, with beating red eyes being the only thing to be seen from the girl. The baby cued as she reached for the man, but the man didn't reach to grab it. The man just sat there to watch the little baby, as she fell back asleep. "Dada" the baby babbled as she tried to grab a part of the man, but the man just backed up. It was like the man didn't want anything else, except to watch the baby. "HEY, GET AWAY FROM HER!" another's man yelled, making the figure turn around at the voice.  A yell crashed through the air as a woman ran to pick the baby up. "GET HER OUT OF HERE!" the man yelled, as the woman ran out of the room.  The woman ran with the baby out of the area as a horse stopped her. The baby started to cry as it saw another man mounted on a horse. This man lifted up a sword, going to stab the woman and the baby. Before anything happened, darkness crept in and blinded everything from the baby. The little girl never knew what happen, as she just fell to the ground.

I awoke with a jolt as I started to panic in my bed. I felt my chest for anything, not feeling any cuts or anything out of the ordinary. I looked down as Tokioichi uncurled from the ball and looked up, sleep still in his eyes.  The monkey sat up as he yawned, then started to rub his ear with his hand. "Oh, sorry. Did I wake you?" I asked him as he sat there, watching me.  I sighed as I looked around the room. Everyone in the army was still sound asleep. I looked at dad as he lied there sleeping, some of his armor was off, making it more comfortable to sleep. I looked out the window, seeing the moon shining through the area and shining down on us. I sighed as I looked and saw the horses sleeping, lying in the grass and their heads down in a deep slumber.  I sighed as I looked down at the floor then to my left. " It was just a dream, which is good. But I don't know why I had one like that. It felt more of a memory than a dream" I said, as I heard footsteps outside the room.  I looked at the door, in hope to find light by it, but nothing.  Footsteps continued to walk up to the door but turned around to walk away. "Who could that be?" I whispered as I looked over for the knife.  I picked it up as I slipped it out of its sleeve, still perfectly sharpened as always.  I clenched the handle well, as I looked up at the door.  I saw the light starting to fade from the doorway, which made me more nervous. I looked down as I slowly walked around the army, who was still into a deep sleep. I stopped when a hand slapped on my foot, making me looked down. Toshiie was grasping lightly to my foot as he mumbled something in his sleep. I sighed as I slipped my foot out of his grasp, then continue over the army. I almost fell onto the door but made it to a perfect stance.  I turned to look and make sure I didn't wake anyone, which I didn't.
