Chasing Deku {COMPLETE}

Chapter 1

Kirishima

Kirishima was in the middle of a discussion with Kaminari when his phone went off. "Just a sec Kaminari, I gotta take this." Kaminari gave him a nod and stepped back to continue looking over the blueprints of a building they were working on.

"What's up Bakubro?"

"Come over!"

Kirishima looked at his phone with concern after Bakugou abruptly hung up. Kirishima sighed heavily. Bakugou wasn't a bad guy, but his alpha instincts sometimes caused him to act like a jerk. Something must be bothering him. He and Bakugou had been friends since junior high and that friendship had morphed into something more. He wouldn't exactly call them lovers. It was a mutually beneficial arrangement. No strings, just sex. And both knew that the relationship would end as soon they found a compatible beta or omega.

"I gotta go Kaminari. Somethings come up." Kaminari gave him pout and ran a hand through his blonde hair. "It's Bakugou again isn't it? You know, I won't wait forever. I know he's your friend. But you deserve more than sex!" Kirishimas eyes widened. He'd had no idea Kaminari knew what was going on much less had a thing for him. He gave the beta a considering look.

Kaminari was definitely his type. He had a thing for blondes. And everyone knew that a relationship between two alphas never lasted. The only reason he and Bakugou still had a thing was because there were no emotions involved. "Let's meet for lunch tomorrow. I'd be interested in seeing where this could go." Kaminari gave him a bright smile and waved as he left.

Finally! A relationship that could actually lead somewhere. Now all he had to do was explain the situation to Bakugou. Kirishima left the office wondering what had gotten Bakugou so wound up.

Katsuki

Katsuki paced back and forth while waiting for Kirishima to arrive. He needed to release some tension so he could focus on the case he'd just been given. Seeing Deku again had riled him up. They used to be friends but when they both were presented as alphas everything changed. In fact, he'd done everything he could to drive Deku away. He couldn't stop himself from bullying the weaker alpha when he'd been younger. The hero world was a dangerous place. Only the best could handle it.

Deku used to be a weak quirkless kid. It came as an unwelcome shock to learn he was an alpha. He must have been a late bloomer because he did develop a powerful quirk in highschool. But none of those things explained Katsuki's obsession with him. Any time he was around Deku he had the urge to claim him. An impossibility between two alphas. It didn't make any sense. Such confusion made him volatile. Since he couldn't explain his attraction and need for Deku, he did everything he could to make Dekus life hell.

But they were adults now. At 22, Katsuki still didn't understand why he continued to want Deku, but he'd learned to control his alpha instincts. If it weren't for Kirishima, he'd probably still be that explosive teen always spoiling for a fight. Maybe he should have treated Deku a little better. If he'd known that he would still have these feelings years later, maybe he would have. Just the thought of Deku was enough to make him hard. A knock at the door turned him away from his thoughts.
