Katsuki

After receiving an anonymous call, Katsuki arrived at an old warehouse on the edge of the bay. It looked like it hadn't been used in years. Parts of the brick was crumbling away and the windows were dusty and broken. He made his way cautiously to the front of the building before signaling Kirishima to halt.

Slowly, they opened the door and peeked inside. There were no lights and the sunlight spilling in from the door was barely enough to illuminate the entrance. Katsuki heard a muffled sob. Without a second thought, he burst into the room, Kirishima directly behind him.

He lit up the room by making small explosions in his hand. The scene before him left him confused. The room was illuminated and bathed in flashing orange light from his explosions.

"Light Kiri!"

Kirishima pulled out his phone and used the flashlight to bring the room into focus. Sitting huddled together in the middle of the room, was the six omega kids. They were tied and gagged and the smaller ones huddled as close as they could behind an older female child. She was glaring at them, daring them to come forward and hurt them.

Katsuki liked her right away. She was very brave. Kirishima panned the light around and stopped on the body of a man. He was surrounded by a pool of blood. Katsuki cautiously approached the body to check for a pulse. Feeling none, he turned the man over and examined him. His throat was slit and he had multiple stab wounds to the chest and abdomen. So blood loss was the most likely cause.

Since there didn't seem to be any danger, Katsuki walked over to the kids and untied the girls gag.

"I won't let you hurt them!"

"Shh. We aren't here to hurt you. I'm Ground Zero, and this is Red Riot. I've been searching for you for a long time. Let's get you kids home."

The girl seemed to deflate. She had remained strong throughout their capture, but upon release, her emotions got the best of her. Katsuki untied the rest of the kids and escorted them outside to wait for help. He put in a quick call to All Might and gave him the good news. While he was talking to All Might, the young girl approached him.

"That man in there.... is he.... is he dead?"

"Yes. I'm sorry you had to see that." Katsuki tried to comfort her.

"I'm glad!"

Katsuki looked at her in concern. Did the trauma from her kidnapping and her time spent in captivity make her violent? He hung up the call with All Might. He needed to focus on helping this kid.

"Why do you say that?"

"That's the man. He's the one who...he...he was going to hurt us. Because we are omegas. But that other man came... He was crazy... Mumbling... and they were fighting..."

She broke down into tears, placing her hands over her eyes and sobbing. Katsuki hesitantly wrapped his arms around her and patted her on the head.

"Shhh. You don't have to tell me anymore. It's over."

"Maybe for us..."

"What do you mean?"

The young girl pulled away slowly and looked up at him, eyes fearful.

"What they fought about... the crazy man was mad... he didn't get what he wanted. The deal was off. He killed him... He said... He said he was going after some guy named Izu.. Izuki?"

"Izuku?!"

"Yeah. He said we'd be a good distraction for Bakugou. Do you know what he meant?"

Katsuki froze. Then his heart started to race. He hurriedly pulled out his phone and dialed. The call went straight to voicemail. Heart hammering, Katsuki called Kirishima over.

"Stay with the kids. Somethings wrong!"

"Wait. Bakugou! What's going on!?"

Katsuki ignored him. There was no time to lose. Deku was in the hands of a killer. He began to run while dialing the next number. It was picked up after two rings.

"Baku-"

"Track him! Send me coordinates! He's got him!"
