I get in the car, as Klaus shuts the car door. He starts the engine, and we go. "I can't believe your doing this..again" I say, and me smiles, but still looking at the road. "I just want you to be safe" He says, raising an eye brown and doing his little grin thing. I can't help but blush. I move my Dirty blonde hair out of the way, and smile. He's going to compel the teacher that he's 'new'.
We get to the school, and we go into my class. We both approach the teacher, and he looks into his eyes. "I'm new, the names Klaus Mikaelson. My seat is next to Gabriella, isn't it?" He whispers, so no one else can hear. "Well, welcome Klaus! Your seat is next to Gabriella" Mr.Willys says, pointing at an empty seat. I sit down, and he sits near me as my friend and other people stare. The teacher starts teaching, and Klaus grabs a pencil to doodle. "Focus" I whisper, and give him a nudge. He laughs, and the teacher looks over. "Hmm" Mr.willys mumbles, and continues to teach. "I don't have to, sweetheart. Iv bin alive for over 1,000 years" Klaus says, giving me a wink. Mr.Willys looks over, crosses his arms, and says, "Mr.Mikaelson, do you have anything to share with the class?". Everyone starts to laugh, and I give them all looks. Before he could say anything, I say, "First of all, I'm pretty sure he prefers Klaus. Thank you very much". Everyone starts laughing, and some go, "OHHH!!". Mr.Willys rolls his eyes, and shakes his head. "I was talking to him not you Gabriella, so thank you" The teacher fires back. When the teacher fires back, he has very sucky comebacks. "And I was talking to you" I mumble, and he pretends that he didn't hear. Minutes past, Klaus Sighs in Anger, and brakes his pencil. "Klaus, are you ok?" I say Concerned, and trying not to laugh at how frustrated he was on a drawing. "I messed up" He says, trying to calm down. I laugh, and he looks at me. I grab his paper, and look at it. "Klaus, it's amazing" I say, shocked. I wasn't lying, I mean I could tell where he messed up on the hand but it was still good. "Eh" Klaus says, and shrugs. Time passes, and the bell rings for next class. We get into the class, but we don't sit next to each other. I told him not to compel the teacher, because I felt bad. We sit down on opposite sides of the room, and 5 mins past. Klaus stairs at me, with a huge grin on his face. He doesn't know I noticed, and I looked at him. He waved, and I gave with a little cute wave back. Good, how is his smile so gorgeous?!
Hopefully he didn't hear that, because I mumbled to myself that. Then, a feel a paper hit my back. I look quickly back, to see Vanessa laughing with her best friend Quinn. "What's up, you freak" Quinn says, and Vanessa laughs evilly. "Leave me alone" I say, and try to ignore them. Bell rings again (I'm lazy),
And I get out because we have brake. Klaus got out before me, because he's seat is right next to the door. I walk out, and go on my phone outside the bathroom. Just as Klaus was about to approach me, Quinn gets to me first. Klaus pauses in where he is. He probably thought we were friends.
"You know you don't ignore me when I'm talking to you, right?" Quinn says, putting her arms on her waists. "Please Quinn, do you have anything better to do?" I say, and realize that's the first time I spoke up to her. I tried walking away from her, but she caught up to me right in the middle of the hallway. Klaus was confused on what was going on, I mouthed to him, 'Hold on'.
"Quinn, I have to go to my friend" I say, and try to go behind her but she moves in my way. "You never talk back to me" She says, and pushes me but I catch myself. Klaus looks like he had enough, but I Mouth, again, 'Don't get involved. Hold on'. I move to her and tell her to stop, but then she slaps me in the face. I look up at her in shock, and open my mouth but don't say anything. Klaus does the same thing. "Next time don't-" I caught her off, by taking her down to the ground, and punching her face. Her nose was bleeding, and this time she was in shock. I don't stop. I pull her hair, and keep punching her until I wanted to stop. I got up, and didn't do anything. I, myself, was in shock of what I did. I looked back down, and realized she couldn't even get up. I laughed at her, and said, "Do you still want to do this?". She shakes her head no, and gives me her stupid puppy eyes. "I thought so". Klaus walks up to me, and says, "Everyone's staring, and we should probably go". I nod, and I have the passion to skip my hand into his. I was so happy I finally stood up for myself. I feel Klaus' hand grip on my hand tighter, and I can't help but think, I was born to kill this man, but threw out what I experienced he's all I ever wanted. I knew he could hear my thoughts, so I tried so hard not to think of these things. But they kept popping up. We walked out, and got into his car. "I miss my mom" I whisper underneath my breath. He looks at me, and then doesn't do anything. I minute passes, and he finally says something. "I think you should go back with her".
