I opened my eyes but quickly shut them once I seen a bright light. I begin to adjust my eyes to the light and looked around the room, soon realizing that I was in a hospital.

"OMG! He's awoke!" I hear someone shout.

I sit up and see Jaylyn, mom, and Amor all standing there.

"What happened to me and where's dad?" I ask.

"Dads the reason why your hear Amir." My mom said.

"Why what happened to me?" I ask.

"When you got home from school he seen you get out of and all black Camaro with a boy. When walked in he just started attacking you with punches. I heard commotion and went down there and pushed him off you. And I fought him." Amor says with a sad look.

"Well where is he at?" I was filled with so many questions now.

"He ran when he seen mom walk in the house." Amor explains.

All I can do is take in all this information.

"Amor- I mean Amir, be honest with us. Are you gay?" My mother asks me.

Me and Jaylyn make eye contact right away. I was scared. I know they said they wouldn't judge me or anything but I'm still scared.

"No mom. Why would you think that?" I question.

From the corner of my eye I seen Jaylyn shake her head and huff before walking out the room. She's always wanted me to accept my sexuality but that was pretty hard. I never wanted to be gay. It's not like I planed on likeing dick at all. All of this is just stressful.

"Amir, please don't lie to me." Mom pleads with a frown.

"Mom I'm not fucking gay! Do you want me to be gay so you can tease me about it!?" I yell now heated.

"Amir bro. This is mom not dad, so don't go yelling at her." Amor steps up.

"Sorry mom. This all is just overwhelming." I apologize.

"It's fine baby. Are you ready to head home now?" She asks.

"Yeah."

"Hey Jaylyn." I smile at her while we stand at her locker.

"Hi." She says dryly.

"Awww. Come on Jay Bird. I wasn't ready to tell them I'm gay. This shits hard man. Will you forgive me?" I try giving her my best puppy face which I know looked ugly.

She busts out laughing, " I swear I can't stay mad at you for a whole day."

"Let's get to class before we're late." She suggested and so we begin to walk to history class.

As were walking side by side, I accidentally bump into someone.

"I am so sorry for that." I apologize and pick up my pen that fell.

I look up and see Kaden.

"Well I see we meet again Amir." He says smiling.

"Whatever Kaden." I was still a little mad at him so I walked off as Jaylyn continued to stare at me confused.

"What was that all about?" She asked.

"Someone I met in the office." I said trying to keep it simple.

I see her smirk at me, " Ya know, you guys would be a cute ass couple."

"Um.... yeah I think the fuck not. Plus he's not even gay." I state.
