Beep. Beep. Beep.

Dean's phone alarm went off. He rolled over in bed to look at the time. 6:00. He stared at the ceiling for several minutes before reluctantly getting out of bed and going to the bathroom to freshen up. He got out, put on his blue bathrobe, and went to the kitchen.

"Sam!" he called out. No answer.

"SAM!" he called out louder. Still no answer. Dean grabbed his phone ready to call Sam until he saw a note on the fridge in the kitchen.

Dean,

Got a lead on how to stop Michael. Mom and Jack are coming with me. Cas should be there soon and you can call anyone else you might need. I don't know how long I'll be gone so don't wait up for me. See you later. Let me know if you need anything.

                                                                                                                                                                Sam

Dean chuckled and crumpled the note up. He tossed it in the trash can and started making his breakfast. He fried himself an over easy egg, perfectly toasted bread, and the best bacon he'd ever had, which he said every time he had bacon. He sat down to eat and as he lifted his bacon to his mouth, the door to the bunker flew open.

"Dean!" Castiel called as he walked down the stairs.

"In here!" Dean replied as he started inhaling his breakfast.

"Good morning Dean." Cas(Dean and Sam always called him Cas) said in low, smoky voice. That was one of the many things Dean found incredibly attractive about Cas, though he would never tell Cas that.

"Morning" Dean replied with a mouth full of food, "So you got any plans today Cas?"

"Not at the moment" Cas replied not a moment too soon. Both Dean and Cas's phone beeped with the notification of a new case.

     "What is it?" Dean asked.

"A case." Cas replied. Dean looked up from his food and dropped his fork. He stood up and grabbed his phone.

"Let me go change and then we'll head out. You can tell me the details of the case on the way." Dean replied. With in the hour, Dean and Cas were in the impala headed to the city of Albuquerque, New Mexico. On they way Cas filled Dean in on the case, telling him about the four murders, that all four victims were at the same place before the murder, and that there was some sort of green substance at every crime scene. Dean knew right away it was ectoplasm and that they were dealing with a ghost. What Dean didn't know was that were a few key details that Castiel accidentally left out.
