Taehyung age 13 -
I wasn't allowed to speak. If I speak they beat me. If I make a sound they beat me. I'm not sure why they keep me anymore. I just sit here, doing nothing until they beat me. I have nothing to do, so I always wonder about life. Life is really weird, you know.
Taehyung age 19 -
Some people in black uniforms busted into the house. They had big, scary guns and they were shooting everywhere. They didn't shoot me though. Something about money. They arrested my "owners. "
Something about drugs. The men in uniforms told me that they would bring me somewhere safe. For some reason I don't believe them.Taehyung age 20 -
They were telling the truth. Well, kinda. Its safe, but its just like my old life. Minus the beatings, and I get to eat twice a day. But other than that I just think. I think and think. The men in uniforms sometimes try to talk to me. I don't understand why. I never respond either, they'll beat me. That's just how humans are.Taehyung age 21 -
Today I was moved into a different room. There were five other hybrids there. Their names were Jimin, Jungkook, Yoongi, Namjoon, and Hoseok. They all had bad pasts too. All because of humans. We really can't trust them, can we? They all seem to trust each other, though. They are always talking and joking with each other. It makes me really happy to see. They try to get me to talk to, but I don't think I'm ready just yet.Taehyung age 21 -
It's been a two months since I met the other hybrids, but its safe to say I'm a whole other person thanks to them. I talk, a lot. I really like talking. When I first talked my voice cracked and I had to whisper. No one laughed at me though. They all encouraged me, and I slowly got better and better. Now, I can talk really easily. Its fun, laughing with them. I couldn't get much happier.Taehyung age 21 -
Five months. Its been five months since I met the other hybrids. Today another hybrid joined us. His name was Jin. I surprised myself by being the first to talk to him. He was really friendly. He told us all about his past. He told us how his owner died, and the new owners just threw him out because they didn't want him. It's no surprise there. Humans are cruel. What did surprise me was his first owner. His first owner loved him, treated him nicely. He described it all with a smile. It makes me want that too. I wonder if there are more humans like that.Taehyung age 23 -
We are being adopted today. The men in uniforms woke us up early, telling us to get ready. This news both excite and terrifies me. I have hope that the owner will be just like Jin's first one, but I doubt it.I was surprised to see an old lady walk into the room. Jin seemed sad, I wonder why? The old lady greeted us with a smile, she took us to a huge van and we all, somehow, got in. She drove us to a house, but she asked us to stay in the van. We did, but she got out and started looking around. After awhile she seemed happy as she returned to us with a grin. She told us to get out, and we did while she lead us into the house. I didn't pay much attention to the house, but it was kinda small. Is that normal for an old lady?
She told us to sit wherever, so we all just sat on the couch. I have no idea how we fit. She stood before us with her hands on her hips and a smile on her face."Well, boys, I adopted you but I am NOT your owner. My granddaughter is! "
Eh? I looked over at all my brothers, they were all shocked too. What did she mean, our owner was her granddaughter?
"My granddaughter is very very kind. She is a hard worker, but she sucks at making friends! So I thought you all could help her... "
Her eyes softened as she looked at Jin.
"Your owner was my best friend. When she... Passed she asked me to find the best home for you. I'm certain that place is here. That goes for all of you. "
She stepped towards Namjoon.
"Please give this to her. I wish you all a happy life. "And with that she was gone.
We were left all alone with our thoughts.
I was excited. She seemed nice, so her granddaughter must be nice too! Of course, I was worried that she would be like my previous owners, but my excitement of having a owner that loved me overwhelmed that and by the time she got here I couldn't contain myself.
I tackled her. Jimin did too. She didn't get mad at us, though. She smiled. She laughed. She immediately told us that we were her friends. We weren't slaves. She made sure we knew we were accepted her, and she didn't even know us yet! She really is the best! I have never known such happiness. I can only hope it continues.
Taehyung Present Day -
My princess hasn't been paying attention to me. It makes me sad, it makes me want to cry. She's been busy with school and work, and when she's here the others always steal her attention! Right now everyone is asleep, except me and her.
But... She's doing homework. I want to go cuddle her, but I don't want to disturb her.
Without realizing I end up slipping into one of my "thought spells. " Out of habit I typically go really quiet when Im trying to think, I space off too. My brothers noticed it, and they asked questions, but I never know how to answer. My princess noticed it too, but she never questioned it.
I must've slipped off again because I found myself being gently shooken awake by my princess. She gave me a soft smile.
"What's wrong Tae? "
I didn't even need to say anything. I just pouted and held open my arms.
My princess instantly knew what I wanted. She laughed and dragged me towards the couch. She pulled me down and cuddles the rest of the night. My princess truly knows me so well. Its like magic! Who knew such happiness existed? Everyday I seem to get happier and happier and happier. All thanks to my princess.
