~Hybrid's POV~
I sigh as I get up and look at my boss, The Fire King, aka The Prisoner but whatever. "Hybrid I want you to go out and look for the Ice King, I heard he was at Lazy Lagoon" I nod and glide away to Lazy Lagoon. I hate missions, but I'm forced to do them or else I'll get executed. I land and look around bringing my Dragon's Claw Pickaxe and walk around.
I look around and bump into someone, I look at the person I bumped into and blush hard. She's beautiful, I stare at her icy blue eyes with my mouth wide open, thank God I'm wearing a mask. She looked at me and started apologizing "I'm so sorry!" She blushed in embarrassment, I couldn't spit out a word 'Come on Hybrid! Spit it out!' I grabbed her hands and smiled "I-Its okay, I should be the one apologizing, I'm sorry" I looked away and removed my hand from hers.
I looked up to her and she blushed "I-I uh..... S-Sorry!!" I spat out and blushed really hard, she giggled and grabbed my hand "I'm Laguna, what's your name?" I looked at my hand with hers and looked at her and stuttered "H-Hybrid..." She smiled "Cute name, considering you look like one" I laugh "Yeah..." I felt her fingers intertwine mine. I felt uneasy and blushed uncontrollably "Hey you wanna hang out?" Laguna asked, smiling cutely. I looked around for Ice king and I saw no one, I looked at her and nodded.
She lit up and hugged me "Oh my god, I'm finally gonna have a friend!" Wait what? "You don't have a friend" I looked at her and she shook her head "I just arrived to the Island and well, the first person I encountered was the Ice King and he was, really mean and hurt me." She showed me her bruise on her arm, I looked in shock, how dare he! "Did you treat it?" I asked and she nodded I smiled and grabbed her hand "I'm gonna try to cheer you up, how about we go to Paradise?" I ask and she grinned, we made our way to Paradise, we spoke about some things and it turns out, we have a lot in common, we bumped into Drift, Snorkel, Brite and Raptor and introduced them to Laguna, they were all very nice to her and we soon said our goodbyes and made our way through Retail.
"So Hybrid, where do you live?" I laugh and said "In a volcano" I joked and she laughed "For real right now" She punched my arm playfully "Well I live here in Paradise" I heard my phone vibrate and look at the person calling me...The fire king God damn it he had to ruin their convo... Oh wait I'm the author nvm... I answered back "Hello?" "Did you find him?" "N-No sir I didn't, I looked around but couldn't spot him or his Trogs" He sighed "Okay then, you could go home, you have a day off tomorrow, goodbye" He ended the call and I sighed with relief, I felt Laguna squeeze my hand "Oh I'm so sorry, that was my boss, he asked me a question about my mission, I'm so sorry I kept you waiting" She kissed my cheek HE WEARING A MASK DON'T WORRY I blushed "No need to be sorry Hybrid."
I walked up to my house "So..." She stood silent, blushing hard. "Wanna watch a movie?" I asked and she lit up and nodded, still blushing which I thought was cute. I opened the door and removed my mask and let out a sigh "It was hot in there" I look at Laguna who was staring at me with a huge blush on her face "Oh uh, I know I look ugly" She shook her head "No No, you look handsome!"
~Laguna's POV~
He is handsome without his mask, his yellowish-brown hair, his yellow eyes, wow... I did not expect him to be this damn cute! "Oh uh, I know I look ugly" I shook my head "No No, you look handsome" I blurted out without thinking and blushed so hard, I thought I was gonna faint and covered my mouth. He looks away and mumbles something, and grabs my hand "Come with me" He transforms into a lizard guy and "Forget about the movie, just hop on my back" Wow.... He has powers huh? Cool! I jump on his back and he jumps out of the window and jumps on top of a mountain and sits down, transforming back to his orginal form I sit down next to him and put my head on his shoulders "Ya know, I'm starting to feel weird around you, a good weird" He says, placing his head on top of mine "Me too" I say, smiling a bit "Should we keep it to ourselves until that day arrives?" He asks and I nod.
He lifts his head and looks at me and leans in. He captured my lips and kissed me. I was shocked and just....kiss back. I let go and cover my mouth, looking away with a red face. "Sorry...I needed to do that" I look at him and smile "It's okay you goofball" I play with his hair and watch the sunset with him. He rests his head on my lap and smiles "It's beautiful, just like you" I blush and slap his arm lightly "You idiot" I giggle and he chuckles. "Ya know what I love about you Laguna, your laugh" I blush "You're such a flirt Hybrid" He grins "Thanks, learned it from Drift" I laugh. I sigh, letting a smile. "Oh and you're eyes, wow I love them" "Thanks" I kiss his forehead and he chuckles "I love how we just met and we have feelings for each other, love at first sight huh?" I say, ruffling his hair. He nods and gets up "Where is your house Laguna?" "At Happy Hamlet, why?" He grins "Let's take you there" He transforms into the Lizard and I ride on his back and in seconds, we're there "Woah what?!" I was surprised "hehe" He transforms back and grabs my two hands and I look into his eyes and smile "I'll see ya tomorrow?" He asks and I nod, I lean in and peck his lips "I love you Hybrid" He grins and kisses my cheek "I love you too, Laguna" We both share a kiss and break it. He transforms into the Lizard and jumps back home.
I miss him already
