Save Me - Jungkook

ONE

Jeon Jungkook.

That's the only thing Jieun know about him. His name only. She rarely sees him in class. And by not seeing him, Jieun then only heard about the rumor spreading about him. Jieun often doesn't take any rumor seriously, that's why she always says to herself that she knows only one thing about him, which is his name. But, like any other student in this school, they cannot just pass a rumor.

Jungkook got into this high school with the highest score. But at the entrance ceremony, he didn't attend it. Therefore, people start to speculate stuff because Jungkook supposes to give the freshman entrance speech. Jieun never really think about that stuff much, because what gain would she get. She'll just focus on her grade since she came second. And honestly, that's not a really good score for her. Because she's always in first place starting from elementary school.

Jieun let out a heavy breath while keep on putting positive stuff in her head. Middle term exam is starting and now she going to take the math exam as the first subject of this week exam. Her hand gripped the end of her book tightly as the memory of her father going to her room to check on her if she's studied or not is keep on pass by. Jieun bites her lips, somehow she hopes that Jeon Jungkook guy didn't attend this middle term exam, so she can get the first grade.

As she opened the class door her eyes went straight to a chair at the back spot in the corner. The spot that always empty for that man. While her hopes keep on going around her head, Jieun's eyebrows frowned, because right now there's a guy sitting on that chair.

Without giving much though Jieun starts her positive strategy once more. She's study hard for this middle term exam and that guy didn't even attend one single class this past semester. Suppose she could beat him easily. Surely.

Jieun went through her chair and sit immediately. Sadly her spot is right in front of him. While focusing on the math formula she's been studying the teacher went inside the classroom and put both of his hand on top of the teacher desk.

"Good morning, all!" says Mr. Choi happily, "since you guys know that today we will start the middle term exam I hope you guys have already prepared yourself diligently. Because as you know I won't tolerate any bad score from each anyone of you."

While the other students just frowned and laugh at the same time, Jieun just looking straight to the exam paper on top of Mr. Choi desk with worries.

"Well, feels good to finally meet my last student, Mr. Jeon Jungkook," Mr. Choi straight out his hand towards Jungkook direction. "You've been absent for this whole semester, would you at least mind to introduce yourself to your friends?"

No answer.

Jieun felt the stares of her classmate burn her back by seeing the man behind her. But she didn't flinch or even turn around to follow her other classmate. She just sits there, looking at her table.

"Well then, I guess we could just start the exam. Good luck guys."

Jieun reaches the exam paper from a student in front of her and took two exam papers. One for her and the other one is for the man behind her. She swallowed her saliva scaredly and shakes her head. What the hell she's so scared of, she's just going to give him his exam paper, that's all. Nothing more.

The rumor.

She licks her lips as she turned some of her body around to give him his exam paper. When she took her arm forward to him, he doesn't even look at her. He just looked outside the window, merely nothing going on in his eyes. Without waiting for Jungkook to take the exam paper, Jieun just put it on his desk slowly.
