I woke up to beating on my door.
"Wake up Piper!" Jason said, "leave me alone" I mumbled back in a tired voice. I heard him walk away and a sudden relief went through my body.
~10 minutes later~
"Honey you need to wake up, were leaving in a hour." My mom said from down stairs. I got out of bed and walked into the bathroom, with droopy eyes and messy hair. I looked in the mirror in disgust. I took my clothes off one by one and turned on the shower waiting till it got warmer. I didn't really care if I was late, all I wanted to do was go back to sleep. I jumped in the shower getting my hair wet then standing there like I had nothing better to do. It felt so good. Finally I was done bathing. I got out the shower with chill bumps immediately. I put my hair in a messy bun and wrapped a towel around me. I walked in my room, I already had something in thought to where the night before so I went to my closet and picked out a pair of dark blue jeans, a white blouse, red bubble necklace and a pair of brown sandals. I went to the bathroom again and took my damp brown hair out of the messy bun, and dried it with blow dryer, after it was dry I curled it. I check my room making sure I have everything before I went down stairs. I walk down stairs and my mom, dad, and brother, are all sitting at the table. "Good morning" dad said while eating his bacon. "Morning" I said in a tired voice. I walk over to the cup cabinet and grabbed a coffee cup, I walk to the refrigerator and grabbed some orange juice, and I poured a half a cup of orange juice in my jug. "You didn't want to wake up this morning" Jason said, "I was just soo tired" I said back. "Why have you been going to to sleep late?" Dad said "I don't know I just have been" i said back. A long silence approached. "Okay well I think we should get goin" mom said,
~at school~
Me and Jason got out the car, Jason saw his friends and caught up with them. I walked in the school and saw my friend Kimberly. "Hey kimberly" I said, "oh hey" Kimberly said back, "hey, so i-" "hey piper can we talk?" Jason interupted. "About what?" I added. "Look I just need to okay?" Jason said in a -not so happy- voice. "Ugh, fine. Hold on kimberly" I said. Me and Jason walked on the other side of the lockers. "Okay what do you want" I said, "okay, well, mom would've told you sooner but she decided not to because it would be to hard" Jason said in a sad voice. "What is it?" I said curiously. "Okay look, me and you are moving" Jason said as he let out a sigh. "What the hell are you taking about?" I said back. "Were moving" Jason said. "No it's the middle of the school year mom would never move" i said. "I know, she would never do that, that's why me and you are only moving" Jason said. "That's ridiculous, quite playin around" I said with a chuckle. "Dude, im not playing around" he said back. "So your telling me, that me and you are going to pack up and live somewhere without mom and dad." I asked. "Yep pretty much" he said. "I cannot believe this" I said looking at the floor. "Well you better believe it, because we're leaving Saturday." He said. "What!!. Saturday!?! I said shocked. "Yes saturday" he said back.
~Bell ringing~
"Okay look I have to go to Pre Algebra, we will talk about this when we get home" Jason said, while walking away. "Is everything okay?" Kimberly said while peeking on the other side of the lockers. "Yea, everything's fine." I said back lying. Me and Kimberly walked to History.
~last bell~
As I walked out of school I saw Kimberly. "Oh, Kimberly!" I shouted, she kept walking. "Kimberly!" I shouted again. I finally caught up with her, I grabbed her hand and spun her around, "did you hea-", "you lied to me" she interrupted. "Wait what?" I said confused. "You lied to me" she said again, "look I swear I can exsplain" I said admitting, "go ahead, say it, why did you lie?" Kimberly asked. "Okay look, I didn't want to hurt you, I feel like I'm the only person that you hang out with, so when I'm gone, you know." I said. "Oh, I understand, it's just I don't like you lying to me." She said, "I know and I'm so sorry" I said. "I can't believe your moving." She said. "I know, I can't believe it either." I said back. We started walking down the sidewalk. "I'm going to miss you so much." Kimberly said, "I'm going to miss you too." I said back, "you just need to keep In touch" she said. "Don't worry I will."
~At house~
"Well here we are" Kimberly said, "yep" I said back. "Are you coming to school tommarow?" Kimberly asked, "no I don't think so, but, would you be able to come over tommarow after school?" "I don't know I'll ask my mom" she said. "Okay I'll maybe see you tommarow" I said, "k, bye" "bye" I said back. I walked away from her, and walked in the house, remembering everything that happened today. As I walked in everyone was starring, all I did was walk forward towards my room. "Piper" my mom said in a low voice, "piper" she said again, as she was about to say my name again, I turned around. "WHAT!" I said angrily. "Piper!!" Dad yelled. "Don't you dare speak to your mother like that!!" Dad said again. "Well y'all are intimidating me. Mom why couldn't you tell me instead of Jason? Huh?! God I can't stand you people, we have been here for a year and we're moving, oh wait y'all arnt going! I make one new friend and y'all take her away from me, thanks for the best childhood ever!" I ran to my room and slammed the door shut. I could feel my heart beating out of my chest, and I could see my eyes fill with tears. I jumped on my bed and got under the covers, crying my eyes out, sooner or later I got very tired. I felt myself droop to sleep.
~Next morning~
I woke up, with a peek of sunshine coming through my window. I layed there for a while, and then started to get hungry. I decided to take a chance and go into the kitchen and ignore everyone. I got up and put my soffe shorts on and put my hair in a messy bun and walked out my room. I got to the kitchen and saw mom making eggs and Jason sitting at the counter on his phone. I walked to the cabinet and got a cup, a bowl, and a spoon, I made some ceareal and made a glass of orange juice. I started walking to my room. "Sweetie you need to pack, there's a lot to do." Mom said. "Cool" I said back. I walked in my room and put my food on my night stand, I hooked up my phone to my speakers and started listening to my music, I got my big and I mean big suitcase and neatly folded my clothes and put them in my suitcase and packed up everything else. I grabbed my phone and texted Kimberly. I asked her if she could come over after school, she said yes. I sat down and turned on my tv, and ate my cereal, I heard the doorbell ring, so I got up and ran to the front door, and pulled her inside. I dragged her to my room. "I didn't even get to say hey to everyone" she said. "Its okay" I said back. We sat down taking selfies and posting them on instagram, saying how much I was going to miss her.
~2 hours later~
"Hey you know what?" I asked, "what" "you should spend the night, I mean this is going to be the last time were going to see each other in a while at least" I said. "Yea I guess it's a good idea, but I doubt my mom's gonna let me." She said, "yes she will" I said back, "okay I'll try" Kimberly said. She called her mom and her Mom said yes. We sat on my bed all night on our phones board out of our minds. "I'm Sooo board, lets do something" Kimberly said, "okay what do you want to do?" "We should spy on Jonah cabarro" Kimberly suggested, "no are you insaine" "come on you will probably never see him again, so why not" she said.
~At Jonah's house~
"Oh my god, I can't believe we're doing this, okay lets start gathering rocks." I said, "what are you talking about, were going inside." Kimberly said. "What?!?!" I shouted, "no!!", "yes" Kimberly said. "come on it will be fun!" " oh my god, fine, what are we going to do?" I asked, "were going to draw on his face" she said, "oh god what did I get myself into?" I said to myself, "here, this way!" She said while pulling my arm. We climbled up the lattice to the top of the roof. We went to the window and tip toed through the bathroom to Jonah's room, "here I'll go first" Kimberly wispered, she drew a rainbow on his cheeks, put loser on his head. After she was done we got out of there.
~At home~
We laughed all the way home, thinking about what he was gonna say when he saw it. As we walked in, we remembered to be quite so dad, mom and Jason, didn't her us. "Where have you been?" Jason asked, "um hey nowhere, just hanging out. We speed walked to my room before he could say anything else. "That was so fun" I said, "I know right, told you, but I'm tired, so I'm gonna go to bed" Kimberly said, I turned on the tv and covered up and feel asleep in a matter of seconds.
