Sorrow is overwhelming
Pain grips my heart
Emotions make my body tremble
My anchor is gone
My ship is lost at sea
Riding on a stormy sea of emotions
Waiting to be taken under
Nothing is there
To keep my above
The surface of the dark abyss
No one to help me
No one that cares
Darkness closes in
Pain and sorrow overpower
The fight is coming to an end
As I begin to give up hope
Why did you go?
You were my anchor
But you left when I need you most
