Revised version.
His heavy breaths and equally heavy footsteps were the only sound he could hear as he ran through the forest. The only thought on his mind was that his hyung was waiting for him at home and that kept him moving. He had no idea how long he had been running or which direction he was going in so he could only hope that it was the right one to get him home. The number of times he has fallen could not be counted with both hands. He felt pain but he didn't know what hurt more the wounds inflicted by his abductors or his patched throat and burning lungs.
After using him and abusing him maybe they had thought that he would really die this time and they left the cabin unlocked or maybe it was a mistake, which ever it was had given him a chance to escape. They did not give him any food or water and yet they would come everyday to beat him and do things to him he would not wish on his worst enemy.
If he was captured again he would bite his tongue and die. His hands were still bound and his brown hair was sticking to his face, he was beyond exhausted. For a moment he thought about just laying down and never waking up because he knew that if he slept now... He would never wake up. The dark sky was getting lighter, a clear sign that he had been running all night.
The faint sound of cars renewed his effort and finally he was met with a familiar sight. The Tiffin Room restaurant. From here it would take thirty minutes by car to get to his home but he didn't have that luxury so he would have to try his best to hide in the shadows as he makes his way home.
His face was all over on a missing person poster and just the sight of it nearly brought him to his knees. The rewards were clearly the work of boyfriend because his brother did not have that kind of money.
After two hours Jimin finally made it home, from a distance he could see his brother and boyfriend talking. The two of them were preparing for another long day of searching. They planned to hang up more posters and hand out some as well and then go to the police station and finally see the private investigator. This had been their daily routine since Jimin had gone missing. Quite frankly all of them were useless... it had been a week and still no one knew where Jimin was.
"Hyung..."
It took him the last bit of strength to call out and it was enough for the two males to hear it. Jungkook looked a little to the left of Yoongi's head, the latter turned his entire body around so quickly he almost got whiplash. Both unable to believe what they had heard. Jungkook was stuck in place taking in the condition of the love of his life. His feet felt like they weighed a ton, no matter how much he wanted to he just could not move.
For the two brothers it was a different story. Yoongi ran as fast as he could while Jimin shuffled forward, he wanted to feel his brother's warmth, to know that he was truly alive and he was out and away from those monsters but even fate would not allow him that luxury, the closer he got to his brother the less of him he could see and just when they were so close he could hear his brother's rhythmic breaths everything went black.
Yoongi was close enough to catch him, the hazy look in his brother's eyes and the faltering footsteps we all signs that he was about to lose consciousness and Yoongi was not about to let him get even more hurt right before his eyes so he ran faster than he was before. Jimin's clothes were so torn he was barely dressed so he carried him inside the house and covered him up with a blanket. He wanted to check for a pulse but he was too scared he might not find one.
Jungkook who was now over his initial shock rushed in and checked if Jimin had a pulse, he was just as scared better him than Yoongi. Also if he didn't check for himself he would have believed everything was a cruel joke on him by his mind. The sight of the bound hands tore his heart to shreds. He was ready to rip them off but Yoongi stopped him, reminding him that this may be the only evidence that could lead to the abductors.
Yoongi took out his phone and with shaky hands called an ambulance and the police. The wait was horrendous. While searching for his brother he was determined not to cry because that would mean he lost hope and he needed to be strong for Jungkook too but now seeing his baby brother bloody and unconscious with chapped lips and bruises of all shades, the tears came on their own and there was no stopping them. The two boys cried for the unconscious Jimin even after the paramedics came. The police could get nothing out of all three and could only take the rope that was binding Jimin's hands.
It's not great but it's better. I hope you guys enjoy it.💜💜💜💜
