Curse of the Werecat

Chapter 2

The next morning, Lisa woke up earlier than everyone because she wanted to set things up so she could see how her testing works. She had set up tiny cameras around the house so she could keep track of Luna for the entire day. Then Lisa went to make herself some breakfast so she could be in her bedroom watching Luna's every move.

"Today's the day. Let's see if my test subject I...I mean my 3rd eldest sibling." Lisa spoke as she had everything set up and had her bowl of cereal on her lap.

The first person to wake up was Leni. Of course Lisa didn't care about her at the moment, so she just saw Leni walk by her cameras. Of course she also saw Leni hit the wall in front of her from being tired before going downstairs to the living room.

However, the next person that woke up, namely Luna, was the one that she needed to be up. Luna opened the door from her room and walked out, yawning and doing a little stretching with Lisa observing from her camera's up above her.

"Looks like nothing occurred yet, Luna is still in her normal state. Let's investigate a little longer from here." Lisa said as she got a scoop of cereal out of her bowl and ate it. She saw Luna go into the bathroom to wash up when Lisa had to look away because she did not want to see anyone in the bathroom at all. Even she has her standards.

Unbeknownst to Lisa, however, that's where the first sign of the transformation has occurred. Luna went into the bathroom to wash her face when she noticed that her fingernails were sharper and longer than they were before. She didn't notice it at all until she was finished washing her face and drying it with a towel in front of the mirror. When she pulled her towel down from her face a little bit, she was a little surprised by the outcome.

"Whoa, what happened to my fingernails?" She thought as she saw them the first time. She removed the towel from her face completely and took a longer look at her hands. She was shocked at how they grew overnight knowing she did nothing to them the day before besides washing her hands before bed. After a few moments, she just shrugged it off, knowing it's probably just a growth spurt occurring. So after freshening up a bit, she decided to leave the bathroom. She had placed her hands in her pockets without knowing that Lisa was watching her from her room.

"Look's like nothing occurred so far. May have to do further examination. The results should've came quickly." Lisa stated to herself as she saw Luna come out of the bathroom, with her being the same. Lisa muttered out a sign of disappointment on her face. The next place that she went to was the kitchen downstairs so she could have something to eat. Lisa then felt an urge to use the bathroom coming as soon as Luna arrived there.

"I need to use the lavatory, but I can't leave this out in the open and miss valuable information." Lisa exclaimed as she was needing to use the restroom but didn't want to miss a chance at discovery. Eventually, she couldn't hold it and ran out of her door and to the bathroom. Meanwhile the rest of the family started to wake up and Luna was in the kitchen taking something out of the fridge.

"What to eat today?" Luna thought to herself as she decided to run her eyes through the fridge until she spotted some leftover fish that was from their dinner last night. She took it out of the fridge and warmed it up in the microwave.

"I guess I'm having fish for breakfast." Luna spoke as she saw it warm up in the microwave, her mouth watering a bit at the food in there that she was apparently craving to eat, not known to her. After it was finished, Luna took it out, went to the table to sit down, and started to devour it. She was chomping it through her teeth, which was now sharper than before as she kept on eating the fish, crumbs going everywhere on the table and some even went on the floor, which Cliff enjoyed. It was at that moment that Lincoln walked in the kitchen and saw Luna demolishing the fish with her mouth.

"Luna, you must be really hungry. I've never seen you eat like this before." Lincoln stated as he went to the fridge and got out the jug of mile as he poured himself a bowl of cereal. Luna finished the fish as soon as he started eating, gave a belch, then started to clean her mess.

"Sorry lil bro, I was just hungrier than usual for some reason." Luna explained while she was cleaning up her mess. Lincoln of course was finishing up his bowl of cereal when Luna was finished cleaning up her mess.

"It's alright. At least it was just some leftovers and not the entire fridge." Lincoln joked as he laughed about it, with Luna laughing along with him. "Come on, let's go watch some TV. It is the first day of summer vacation anyways." Lincoln finished as he went to the living room with Luna following pursuit. At the time that they left the kitchen, Lisa just got out of the restroom as she went back in her room to check up on Luna, only to find out that no one was in the kitchen.

"Drat! I lost her. Looks like this might take a little while longer." Lisa said as she went to the kitchen to put her bowl in the sink.

(AN: Sorry I posted this chapter a little late, just proves how lazy I am sometimes. But at least it was updated. Signs have already shown that the effects from the serum that Lisa injected in Luna has already begun, however, Lisa wasn't able to catch any info. Will she be able to find out some info on her or will this whole experiment be a dud to her. We'll see in chapter 3! Till then, Lion out.)
