Uneasiness (Izuocha)

Chapter 2

Deku's POV

She did not just ask me that. I have to find an excuse quick and fast. Oh god, ummm.... Maybe if I just say something a whole story can come together. 

"The reason why I didn't know that my quirk could do that is that as a child, I couldn't control it. My parents had very different quirks and my dad wasn't home for most of the time. When my mom tried to make me practice, I'd end up hurting myself so she told to not use my quirk in massive amounts. My mom told me that I had to be normal. That I was quirkless. I lived this way of my life for a long time, until we could apply to high schools. My mom told me that she really thought I was quirkless because I almost never trained my quirk in my spare time. Not until I realized I had a chance to enter U.A. I had 10 months to train but I never managed to control my quirk."

I looked at Uraraka nervously to see her reaction to my lie. I'm not too convinced she'll believe me. To my surprise, she had started to fall asleep on my bed. How long had she been sleeping during all that? I do tend to speak a lot...

She looks so cute while she's sleeping. Wait, I should probably wake her up though..

I gently tap on Uraraka's shoulder, and she gets up. She looks up at me and then out of nowhere, she says,

"You look like broccoli."

I start laughing immediately. Uraraka waking up is like every drunk teen you see on the subways in the morning. She tries to get up and then trips over her shoes. I say, "Uraraka are you okay?"

No reply at all. I walk over to her and tap on her shoulder. Still nothing. At this point, I'm getting kind of hungry and I go over to my desk and write a note for Uraraka when she wakes up. I go over to my bed and grab a pillow and lift her head up so she can sleep better. 

I walk out of my room, and then I realize what I've done. There's a girl sleeping in my room. THERE'S A GIRL SLEEPING IN MY ROOM. Okay, I better calm down, it's not like anything happened, maybe she was just tired after training. What was I gonna do in the first place? Get food, that's what I'm doing. 

I take the elevator once again and go downstairs. I see not everyone is down here anymore, except for Kaminari, Bakugo, Sero, Mina, and Kirishima. Bakugo is beating up Kaminari for throwing a snowball at him, so I guess they went out earlier. I go over to the kitchen and look for some more food. I hear Kaminari running and screaming down the hallway. Then I hear some explosions. How long has this fight been going on?

Not gonna question it though. I make myself a grilled cheese and sit down to eat. As I eat, I wonder how long Uraraka's been sleeping. I better finish this grilled cheese up and go upstairs to make sure she's doing okay. I finish up the grilled cheese and wash my dish. I go towards the elevator and Kaminari and Kirishima are throwing pillows at Bakugo while Mina and Sero film. This group all ways comes up with ways to bother Bakugo, I'm not sure as to how they can do it. I press the button for the second floor and go up.

I walk down the hallway and open my room door. Uraraka is still sleeping, but she's moved on to my bed, and she still sleeps there. I'm not sure as to how I'm gonna get her up, she seems very tired. I sit down on the floor and look at Uraraka asleep. 

What am I doing? I should probably stop. If she wakes up I'm screwed. I can already feel myself turning red...crap. At least she hasn't woken up.

Uraraka raises her head up, and she opens her eyes to my tomato red face.

Sorry for cutting it short, I just had to get a chapter out since I haven't had the time to make this chapter. I'm thinking of doing a little bit the bakusquad as well since they're my favorite ones to come up with ideas to do. I've had a lot on my mind and I've been fairly busy recently, I have a theatre show tonight to perform, so that's why it's kind of short.
