Just Dreams

☯ Chapter 7 ☯

I carefully turned the door knob as it was already 30 after nine. I saw my mom on the living room coach. She had already fallen asleep, with the tv on and the remote in her lap. I took off my heals as I tip toed towards her, and kissed her on her right cheek. The hardwood floor creaked underneath my feet, as I slid my hand onto the railing, going upstairs.

As quick as I could, I brushed my teeth and slid underneath my blankets. I could feel the warmth from my blanket as I smiled and closed my eyes in happiness.

I squinted my eyes open as the

sunlight raise peeked through my blinds. I remembered how beautiful last night was. My thoughts kept resigning a smile on my face as I got ready for school.

BUZZ**

BUZZ**

I pick up my phone as I see a text from my mom... "Hey honey...dad and I have left for work but I've made scrambled eggs for you just before we left...have fun at school ! And I'll see you tonight!

-love mom"

I ran downstairs with my backpack and phone in one hand, and my leggings in the other hand.

I ate my plate of scrambled eggs in less than 10 min, as I grabbed my bag and started putting my white converse on, before I realized that I was half naked. "Shit!" I yell as I run back to the kitchen to get my leggings.

*********AT SCHOOL*********

As I wait for the bell to ring, I sit on one of the black, rounded picnic tables, and start reading my history book.

"Uff!" I yell as I feel two sudden tugs on my back, followed by two mimicking giggles.

I turn around as I see Carly and Layna standing behind me. I pout as I get annoyed by their pity joke. "Haha!" Layna laughs as she adds.. "So how are you doing?"

"Good" I said as I smiled with pride and added, how are you?

"Great... I heard you went on a date yesterday!" Layna responds as she smiles.

"Well it wasn't a date it was just a dinner....who told you that we went out?" I blush as I ask.

"Haha Harry said that too...but Harry told liam first, and then liam told me..."

My cheeks turn bright red in embarrassment as the bell rings. "Hey so we'll see you after school!" Layna responds as Carly and her separate ways.

As I go up the stairs to my math class, I see Harry. He smiles at me as he says "Hi babe!" My cheeks blush even more as I turn and smile back, continuing up the stairs.
