Soft crunching sounds filled the air. A particular 'skeleton' (they're all humans), with a target for a soul, walked up the snowy path, chewing a mysterious substance as he went. (That's better.)
It was Wednesday. He was supposed to be patrolling on this day. But instead, he was looking for a certain yellow-wearing 'friend' of his.
He reached the end of the pathway, a net signalling where to stop. But he didn't stop there. He stepped a little bit over the net and kept walking, until he saw a small brick house with a starry dream-catcher hanging off the doorknob. He had reached the place he was looking for.
Knocking on the door, he waited.
And waited.
And waited.
Until at last the door opened. By this time, my camera— I mean, the resource I was filming with (which was a camera, of course) was covered with a glassy film of frost.
A girl with a brown scarf had opened the door. "Hey Killer, what's up?"
"Hi Ink, I just wanted to speak to Dream for a bit."
"Okay then. She's just under the cherry tree behind the house; she might be asleep, though, so maybe don't wake her up. Are you sure you don't want a flat croissant?"
"No croissants, thanks. Thanks for telling me, I'll be off."
Killer walked to the back of the house, where a girl in a soft yellow hoodie was staring up into the rosy blossoms above her head.
Killer sat down next to her, but she didn't move; he gave her a gentle poke, and she looked him in the eye.
...there's nothing like winter in the city, someone in a rush next to someone looking pretty. (ExCuSe Me MiSs I kNoW iT's NoT fUnNy BuT yOuR pErFuMe SmElLs LiKe yO dAdDy'S gOt MoNeY—)
Killer had been mesmerised by two bright yellow eyes; it was a beautiful sight for him. So I'll let him tell it.

~Killer's POV~
Who knew Little Miss Positive could be so cute?
I mean, who knew she could be so sad?
(Below is an edited picture that I drew, pls tell me what to improve on [other than proportions, I'm working on that])
Goddamnit, now I really want to help her out.
"So," I started. "What's up?"
Dream coughed a little, then replied. "Everything."
Silence.
...
Coughing.
...
"You know, I was thinking," said Dream. "Maybe we could help each other out with this... problem?"
I nodded. A cherry petal fell on my nose (so what if I don't draw noses?), and I sneezed it off. Dream giggled, and it was cute as s***. Maybe I blushed; I don't remember.
We spent a little bit of time chattering about general topics. Past stories, the fourth wall, the existence of our world. Anything we talked about made me feel strangely happy.
As I said my goodbyes and walked away, I felt a flutter in the deep depths of my heart.
...was I feeling again?
