Zach sat there at his desk in there room his rainbow flag draped over his shoulders

Jack layed on there in there bed staring at the ceiling the rainbow hand prints still on his face

The light was off there room was only aluminated by the street light out side there

5 hours ago

"So where are yall going?" Jonah asked as zach and jack where about to leave

"Pride parade" zach yelled

"Ok be careful" jonah said like a mom

"Ok mom" jack said

They got in the car and drove to party city to get face paint

Once back in the car they painted their hands in the order of the rainbow and held each others faces like they were about to kiss

"Perfect" zach said admiring his "work"

" Ready?" Jack asked
"Of course"

So they finished the drive to the where the parade was and got there flags out of the the back of the car

They joined there other friends and began walking with the large group

1 hour in

They were having fun as the the rest of the people in the parade started chants and singing songs

People started throwing around chalk dust so everyone was in full rainbow

Zach wasn't feeling any anxiety surprisingly

Everything was going great

3 hours in
They heard screams from the front of the parade the two where towards the back so they couldn't see what was happening but everyone started running the other way so they ran too

Hour 4
They were all sitting around in a field here where the parade was everyone was confused

Jack had heard from someone that there was a bomb threat

Luckily it was only a threat and it didn't go off it was estimated there were 2000 people there

Present time
Zach felt sick to his stomach as a tear rolled down this face

Jack still layed on the bed in shock that someone would try to do that

The other 3 boys thought it would be best to leave them alone

Jack eventually got up to go wash the paint off his face

When finally looking in the mirror she saw how much chalk got in his hair so he took a shower to wash it out

The door opened and jack thought nothing of it he thought zach had just come in to wash his face too but no zach joined him in the shower fully clothed

"Zach what the fuck?!" Jack asked with a laugh

He didn't say anything he just hugged his curly haired boyfriend

"Calm down nothing actually happened" jack said

Zach looked up and jack started to rub the paint off zachs cheeks bring back there normal rosey color

Wow I updated It had felt like forever

I know this is a very real topic and I didnt know exactly how to Wright it
So if you think I could have written it different please tell me I'd love to change it

I live in Florida so in 2016 everything was very close to home so I am in no way trying to desensitize this topic
