2: The Secret

A few months past since your first day at Beacon Hills High. You had gotten so much closer to Stiles and his friends. You have been hanging out with them. It's strange they refer them selfs as a "pack". You have an interest in the supernatural so you know it's to do with wolves. Scott tells you it's an inside joke, so you just shrug it off. You seem to be hanging out with Lydia a lot, you can see she is smart so you go to her with help...as well as Stiles.

Even though you have known Stiles for 4 months, you still haven't told him about your ex back in Salem. You have a movie night with him tonight. Are you going to finally tell him? That question is stuck in your mind all day. At the end of the school day, Stiles and Scott approach you by your locker. Scott doesn't look as happy as he usually does. You decide to try and cheer him up. "Hey, hot girl" you wink "you okay?" You continue while rubbing his arm. You notice Stiles look at Scott then you. "Yeah I'm always fine" Scott says with a smirk. Scott walks off over to Malia. Stiles looks at you seriously "so erm, tonight can we move it to tomorrow? Somethings come up"
"Oh, sure I guess. I hope everything is okay" you say disappointed.
While walking home, you have a depressing Spotify playlist on instead of you're the usual upbeat walking playlist. "Why does this keep happening, this is the fifth time Stiles has cancelled on you with a shitty explanation." You think to your self. And to think, you were almost ready to tell him about your ex.

You get home and FaceTime you're bestie Alec. You haven't spoken to him for a few weeks because you have been too busy with school work and looking after your new husky puppy, George. You spend hours on the call talking about this whole new town and how you miss each other. You decide to tell him how you feel about Stiles and how you feel you don't know him or his friends fully yet...like there is a big secret. He gives you some great advice. To confront Stiles tomorrow, maybe if you finally fully open up to him, he might do the same. You text Stiles around 6ish, by the time you go to bed at 12 you still have no reply.

You wake up way too early: 5:45. "Why the fuck am I up so early?" You try to go back to sleep but, after an hour and half of trying you decide to get up and go for a run. Your run takes you to Beacon Hills woods. It's quiet so you decide to stop by a tree for a break. You notice something on the floor, a phone? Who's phone?. You investigate, it has a wolf as the wallpaper and had no password. The last person to call was Scott. Could it be McCall? Who's Derek? So many questions. Maybe Stiles will know. You take the phone and continue on the run.

8:00 am
You're fully dressed and bored. You can't wait to see Stiles. "Shit, I haven't looked at my phone all morning. Has he replied?" You quickly get your phone from upstairs and check. "Yes! Finally a reply". The text reads "Hey, sorry for the late reply, busy night, you still up for tonight 😉x". You immediately reply with a yes. He has never put a wink emoji before. You have a good feeling about tonight.

The time has come. It's 6pm you are on your way to the Stilinski household. You already know Sheriff Stilinski has the evening shift with you're dad, so won't be home. Still, after 4 months of knowing Stiles, you have only ever been on the ground floor of his house. Could today be the day it moves upstairs, I fucking hope so!

You arrive at 6.04pm. You text Stiles letting him know you are about to arrive. He opens the door, he has a welcoming smile on his face. You walk in giving him a tight hug and you make your way straight to the sofa. Stiles goes to the kitchen and grabs two cans of coke. "Stiles" you  softly shout "what we watching today?"
"You chose, I chose first last time!"
You pick up the remote and straight away click the Netflix button. Damn so much choice! You choose a comedy movie. You love Stiles' laugh. Halfway through the film, the pizza arrives. Stiles goes up to collect the feast. You eat pizza while watching the rest of the movie. The film comes to an end with one last scene. A scene you forgot about...until now. The sex scene. You both awkwardly look at each other, then burst out laughing.

The movie is over and you and Stiles begin to chat. Now's the time. Tell him. Open up. "So, another reason why we moved town is that I had an explosive break-up with this guy back in Salem, he was crazy. A stalker even. I found out he was cheating on me. This was my first relationship since coming out. My family was not supportive at first. This guy was using my insecurity's against me. As soon as I got suspicious he would tell me I'm crazy. It was only when a friend from work asked me something I had only told my ex. I confronted both of them and ended the relationship straight away. It has taken me ages to recover," you feel like so much weight has been lifted after blurting out all that. You only really talk to Alec about this stuff. But you trust Stiles. Stiles looks at you sympathetically, he moves his hand onto your thigh. He begins talking about your ex. You really fell connected to Stiles at this point. The conversation continues...

"So, me and Scott were talking yesterday. We think it's time.."
you interrupt him "shit, I forgot, I found this phone in the forest this morning on my run. It's got Scott's number in it."
"Oh, Show me" he said softly
"Here, I think it belongs to some Derek guy. Looks like he's obsessed with wolfs" you chuckle.
"I know him, thanks for finding this! Anyway as I was saying...we think it's time you know everything! Follow me.

You follow him upstairs, all the doors are shut but one, Noah's room. You come up to a closed door.
"You promise that you won't freak out, this is going to be a lot to process."
"Yeah, I'm sure it's not that bad" you reply sarcastically
"Fine, don't blame me if you have a panic attack" he swiftly replies.
Stiles starts to turn the doorknob slowly. The tension is killing you. You just want to know what they have been hiding from you! Once you know, you might be able to get closer to him. The doorknob is fully turned. Stiles is just about to open the door.
