New Role and The Contract

The next day had come after Naruto's breakdown, he got up and just felt empty this village left a bad taste in his mouth now, but he was loyal to Tsunade and Jiraya so he would stay plus he had Iruka as well so it wasn't too bad.

He got up getting ready putting a black muscle shirt that showed his well, two blue arm bands with the leaf insignia, red pants tucked into black shinobi boots and his green pocket less battle vest with a big blue Uzumaki swirl on the back, he maybe part of Konoha but he is an Uzumaki through and through. Finally putting on his pouches just in case he looked in the mirror having cut his hair short but still untamed he nodded to himself new look and new job.

It was about 5:30 and he wasn't hungry so he made a clone to make breakfast for the family as he left the house. Because he lived with Tsunade and Shizune getting to the tower was a lot easier, opening up the door he saw his new station cleaned up making his way to it he checked every compartment and drawer for hidden traps and such or just miscellaneous stuff.

After doing that he looked all the paper work on his desk, filing it by date and relevance, most of it was Civilian dribble either about him or whatever he didn't care in the least. So once that was done he went into the back room and did inventory, looking at missions, statements, receipts, files on M.I.A or K.I.A's as well as the roster of all active Shinobi and Retired Shinobi. He even found a file of Rogue Ninja from the Village like Orochimaru, Aoi Rokudo and Itachi Uchiha. After organizing that stuff which took about an hour with shadow clones he headed back out to his desk and began some paperwork.

It was about 7:30 when a letter came from a messenger hawk, the trainer came into the front and saw Naruto.

"Hey Naruto, what are you doing here?" she asked curiously.

Naruto looked up too see her and smiled. "Hello Rika-chan, i am the new front desk secretary for Baa-chan!" he said to her.

This surprised the now named Rika, but Naruto told her what had happened and she was sad for him and disappointed in the Village.

"I'm sorry about that," she said sincerely.

He shrugged, "it doesn't matter anymore, so what do you need?" he asked.

She handed him the letter, "this arrived from Iwa, the Tsuchikage is coming here in a weeks time to see Hokage-sama!" she said.

"Huh, well ok then i'l make sure Baa-chan gets this first, thanks Rika-chan!" he said.

She nodded and smiled at him before leaving back to her post. While he went back to work.

Finishing up he noticed it was 8:45am and Shizune opened the door and came in surprised to see so early.

"Morning Naruto-kun," she said happily holding Tonton.

"Morning, did you get the breakfast i made?" he asked.

She nodded as Tonton squealed gleefully. "It was delicious, your really amazing cook," she praised.

He smiled at her, "thanks, um this came for Baa-chan, it's from Iwa.. The Tsuchikage is going to be here in week and this envelop came with it for her eyes only," he said handing the letter and envelop to Shizune.

Her eyes narrowed in curious concern wondering what this could be about, but she took it from him, "thanks Tsunade-sama should be here in about 30 minutes," she said heading out to start her duties for the day.

Naruto sat their as he had nothing to do and he waited, the past three years did wonders for his patience and brashness, when the door opened and Tsunade came to see him at his post working she smiled, he really had changed and she like this new Naruto.
