Uzu of Iwa

Of War and Peace

With the rising of the full moon, the land of Fire was calm but on edge, as many lives are about to be changed, for either better or worse remains to be seen.

With the fiasco of the council taken care of the village could now put there attention to Oto who would be waging war with Konoha, with Jiraya's new Intel it was time, they put the village on lockdown and issued the war council rights.

Tsunade had received word from both Garra and Onoki that they would aid her which was a huge relief for her, they would arrive in five days time.

While this was going on, Naruto sat in his chair looking out the window into the backyard holding a sleeping Mito who was snuggled into her daddy's arms. While he was lost in thought, he had been getting feelings of bleak anger and Tailed Beast like power only it felt wrong and familiar at the same time.

Naruto laid her in her bed and sat back down some sake in one hand and his face in the other, he still felt the ghost pains, more an annoyance then anything.

He was broken out of his thoughts as he felt two pairs of hands touch him, he looked up and smiled seeing his wife and fiance as he set down the sake and the pair sat next to him, wrapping his arms around them as they snuggled into him.

"You okay, darling?" Kuro asked him gently.

"Just a lot on my mind, I've been feeling lots of bleak anger and rage lately and i don't know why it's not coming from me or the others, it feels Biju like only wrong at the same time" he explained.

The girls listened to him and were curious as well, this was new to them, they only knew of the nine, yet even then they didn't truly understand the Biju at all.

"Could it be one of Orochimaru's experiments?" Temari asked.

He was about to shake his head when a thought struck him.

"Maybe...just maybe but we won't know till they arrive," he said.

Finishing off his stiff drink he got up and went to the back yard he needed to train some more.

Natsuto was given the role of big sister so she wouldn't be caught up in the fight, Naruto and Kurotsuchi refused to have a replay of Iwa. So she stayed with Mito and Tsunade during their training.

The time came, Konoha was now prepared for war, the civilians had been evacuated from the village, placed in the underground Root bunkers, while the Shinobi were in their places waiting.

Naruto, Kurotsuchi and Temari were in their places at the front with members of the Rookie 9.

Naruto deciding to pay homage to his mother, father and his wife(s) had on a blood red sleeveless shirt, with a purple Uzu swirl on the back, black shinobi pants and boots on his purple gloves were the Suna symbol, on his belt was his old Konoha plate and on his forehead was his Iwa plate.

Kuro had on a maroon battle dress with violet shorts under and her old combat shoes which still fit, her head band used a belt and On the back of her dress was the Uzu swirl in black, her father's sword on her back and her mothers pouches on her belt.

Temari had on her black battle dress, with black shorts and shoes, her head band was placed on her red sash as a belt and on her purple gloves were the Uzu symbol, her battle fan on her back at the ready.

Both ladies wanted to represent their home countries but also there (future in Temari's case) married namesake as well.

The silence was deafening, the birds were quite, the wind made little noise, but could still see the trees move.
