"Happy birthday to you." I hear Skyler sing to me, waking me up. I open my eyes to see her holding a holding cupcake with a lit candle. I sit up smiling as she sings me happy birthday. "Happy birthday bestfriend." She said handing me my cupcake. "Thank you Skyler." I smile. I blow out my candle, not making a wish. "What'd you wish for?" She asked me.

I thought about making a wish, it's just I already have everything I wanted. I have the perfect friends, the perfect boyfriend, and I have my mom and brother. "I don't need anything else in my life." I honestly say while biting into my cupcake.

"Well, it's almost eleven so go get cleaned up." She told me standing up. "Yeah, yeah. Whatever." I say finishing the cupcake. I take a quick shower, washing every part of me. I dry my hair and curl it, which I rarely do.

I put on jean short shorts, a long black top that fits really good on me. It was a crop top so it showed a little stomach. I put a little make up on while hearing a knock on my door. "It's open!" I say while doing mascara. "Happy birthday!" Brennen and my mom said in sync while walking into my room.

"Hey guys!" I say running up to them. They hugged me as Brennen tried to mess my hair up. "Stop it you jerk." I laugh patting it down. "Let me put my shoes on and I should be ready." I tell them throwing on a pair if vans. I grab my shoes and we sit my moms car.

"Since it's your birthday, where are we going?" Brennen asks getting shotgun. "Red Lobster for sure." I say as my mom nods her head. Brennen makes gagging noises making me hit him. "Shut up hoe." I say making my mom laugh.

We get to a Red Lobster making me excited. "How many?" The hostess asked as my mom told her three. "Okay, right this way." We followed her to our booth, I get one and Brennen and mom get one. "Why'd you make me sit with him?" My mom asked making me laugh.

Brennen looked offended as my mom looked through her menu. "Hey, my name is Charlie and I'll be your waiter this afternoon. Do you guys know what you want to drink?" He asked the three of us.

Brennen got a water, my mom got a sprite, and I got a coke. "So is Colby doing something for your birthday?" My mom asked looking up from her menu.

I instantly blushed at Colby's name and feel butterflies when she said his name. "He has plans, I don't know yet. But we are doing something." I looked over to Brennen smirking. "What's with that face?" I ask right when the waiter brings our drinks.

We ordered our food and waited. After we ate, I looked over to see a few employees walking over to a lit candle and ice cream. I can't believe them. "We're going to fight." I say as Brennen recorded me. "Hey birthday girl, what's your name?" Charlie asked as I told him.

"Okay, guys you ready to embarrass Breann?" They started singing rather loudly making me go red. I couldn't help but laugh at them as they sang. Brennen and my mom recorded as everyone stared at us.

"Happy birthday Breann! Happy birthday to you!" They finished as everyone clapped. "Are you embarrassed?" My mom asked as I started eating it. "Yeah, fuck you guys." I say laughing. We pay for our food and leave.

"Thanks guys for everything." I smile as they turn to me. "Oh that's not all, we got presents." We sat in the car as I opened their presents. My mom got me a necklace and Brennen got me a microphone.

"Why'd you get me a nice microphone?" I ask looking up my brother. "I know you can sing so maybe you can post covers." This is why I love Brennen. People may think he's a douche but he's so sweet.

I couldn't help but smile. "Thank you Brennen." I say. We go back to my apartment so they could drop me off. I texted Colby to see when he might need me. He told me to wait an hour so I get the time with Skyler.

I walk in to Skyler and Jake laughing at something. "Hey birthday girl." Skyler said as I plop on the couch.

"Happy birthday Breann!" Jake screamed making me jump. Why is he like this? "Thank you Jake." I say pulling my phone to see a bunch of birthday messages.

"I can't wait for you to see what Colb-" Jake said but Skyler punched him. I just shook it off while I scrolled through my phone. An hour later, he told me to come over so I brought some extra clothes and left.

I drive the familiar roads to his house. All the cars were gone except Colby's which had me confused. Sam, Corey, Aaron, and Devyn must be out. I opened the door to see Colby holding a rose.

"Happy birthday beautiful." He said making me smile. "Hey Colby." I say walking up to him. I hugged him as he gave me the rose. "It's beautiful." I tell him smelling it.

"I know this is weird but I need to blindfold you for your surprise." He told me showing a blind fold. I sigh as I turn around so he could tie it around me.

I felt his fingers lace up with mine, making me grip on his. "Okay, it won't be far." He told me as we started walking. I was scared of what I could see.

We walk a few seconds until he abruptly stopped, making me bump into him. "Are you ready?" He asked me, letting go of my hand. "I guess." I say as he unties it. This is the best thing I've seen all day.

It's a blanket and pillow fort with Christmas lights everywhere. We were in the living room and the fort took over almost the whole place. There was a projector facing a wall which already had one of my favorite movies on.

I look at Colby with a huge ass grin on my face. "Do you like it?" He asked with a hopeful look on his face. "I love it baby, it's amazing." I tell him looking at it.

"Come on, lets go watch a movie." I say grabbing his hand. I walk under it, amazed by the whole thing. Colby starts the movie as we lay on the pillows and blankets.

Colby wrapped his arms around me, pulling me closer to him. I lay my head on his chest, hearing his heartbeat. I don't deserve Colby one bit. He's just so amazing. We watched every movie he had picked for us and it was amazing being just the two of us.

I wouldn't want anyone else to be my boyfriend.
