Chapter 8: That surprise kiss

Sarah’s POV

Matt: Please tell me you’re going to avoid him...

 

I removed his arms that are embracing me and look at him in the eye...

Sarah: Don’t be like this, Jeremy is my friend... Even if we’re still together, I will not do what you’re asking.

I saw how his jaw tightened.

Sarah: Aalis na ako...

 

I heard him speak nung nasa may tapat na ako ng pinto.

 

Matt: Sarah, at least be fair. If you’ll not avoid him, please do not avoid me too. If you’ll entertain Jeremy, please don’t shut the door for me. That’s what I’m only asking... (He gets hold of my arms)

 

I removed my arms from his hold before turning back at him.

Sarah: Okay. But please don’t expect anything from me. Everything that happened is still clear in my head, Matt... (I’m in the verge of crying again that’s why I decided to walk away).

The next day, we started to shoot our last few scenes for my comaback movie with Gerald.

By 2PM, Matt arrived in our shoot; he gave me this bunch of white roses and brought pizza and pasta for the movie casts, staff and crew.

Direk Cathy: Thank you Matt dito ha.

Matt: Pa-‘thank you’ ko po ‘yan sa pag-aalaga niyong lahat kay Sarah.

We heard giggles all around.

Direk Cathy: Nililigawan mo ba uli?

Diretsahang tanong nito na ikinatahimik ng lahat.

Direk Cathy: Naku, ba’t hindi ka makasagot? Hindi pwede yung ganiyan, big time yung kalaban mo. Mamaya nandito na uli yun... Hindi na nga kami nagpapahanda kasi every shoot may pa-dinner yun.

 

Kung tahimik kanina ay lalong mas tumahimik ngayon, yung tipong pwede mo nang marinig yung pagbagsak ng karayom.

Direk Cathy: So, nanliligaw ka nga uli?

Matt: Opo.

Direk Cathy: Yun... Don’t worry, nasa iyo pa rin ang boto ko! ‘Wag ka na mambababae uli ha? Kundi kukutusan na kita. (Sabi nito habang tinatapik ang balikat ni Matt)

Matt: Thanks Direk...

Direk Cathy: Okay! (Sabay subo nito sa hawak na pizza) Solve nako! Hindi ko na kailangang mag-dinner mamaya. Ayan ha, hindi ako titikim nung pakain nung isa mamaya... (Sabi nito na ikinatawa ng lahat).
