You Only Live Once...

Chapter 5

Chaeyoung's POV

Class got over quickly. So our teachers for music were Taecyeon and Taeyeon Seonsaengnim. We had been told during our first class itself that our end of the year submission was gonna be writing, composing and singing a song. That was gonna be a tough task, but at least I had a year to do it. After class I stayed back to clear some doubts.

I was walking towards the canteen when I saw Jimin flirting with a girl. This guy seriously gave me the creeps.

I reached the canteen and saw that all of them were already eating. I decided to sneak up on them to hear what they were saying

That's when I heard Tzuyu speak,"So Mina unnie, How's Everything?" All them started giggling cause they knew what she meant.

"Fine, why?"

Jeongyeon unnie just shrugged her shoulders and said,"Just because yesterday we saw you behaving differently. Your jaw dropped when you saw Chaeyoung, You blushed when you saw her staring at you, you smiled when she told us she was into girls, you chose her during truth and dare and you were speaking easily in front of her. Has our Penguin already fallen for the angel that just entered our dorm?"

Mina started blushing crazily,"Noooo I haven't guys chill."

Before anybody could continue Jihyo unnie spoke up wit ha hint of worry in her tone,"Guys speaking of Chaeyoung, Yoongi approached her.."

Everyone had worried looks on their faces,"Chaeyoung has no Idea who about who he is or what he does and worst of all, she doesn't know about Jennie. We need to protect her." All the girls nodded except for Mina who just had an angry expression on her face.

I decided it was time for me to enter the scene , So I went and sat next to Mina

"Hey guys, Sorry I was late. What are y'all talking about?" 

All of them scrambled to change the topic until eventually all of them realised that I came and sat next to Mina unnie and started smirking and laughing.

We laughed and cracked jokes until the bell rang. I was waking back to our home room with guys, when I tripped and fell on the ground.

When I looked up, I saw Jennie standing in front of with a smirk,"Oh sorry, I didn't mean to make you feel." she said and walked away.

I got up, dusted myself and started walking in a calm manner. The others were plain confused and worried at the same time.

The day went on until eventually it was finally over. All of us were walking home when Nayeon unnie asked me,"So Chaengie, how was your first day?".

"It was nice. I didn't make any new friends per se but I bumped into a guy called Min Yoongi. We spoke a bit, smiled at each other, shook hands and I left."

"Cool" Nayeon unnie said.

Once we reached home all the girls ate and went to sleep immediately as the were tired. Mina unnie and I were the only ones who weren't tired. I was searching for my strawberries as I wasn't that hungry but had to eat something, when I realised that I forgot them at home.

"AGHHHHHHH, I forgot my strawberries.."I exclaimed.

"Unnie I'm making some ramen, do you want some?" I asked since the others made their own food and I didn't have my strawberries.

"I'm not that hungry, Chaeng"She said.

"You need to eat some thing. Skipping meals isn't good for your health. Have some from mine."

"No chaeng, then you will be hungry"she said in a concerned tone.

"No I'm not that hungry either"I assured.

I made the ramen and asked," Do you want some soda?"

"Yeah sure"

I got the ramen and two sodas and sat down next to her on the sofa.

I handed her the soda,"Thanks Chaengie". God! that gummy smile can kill anyone.

"Anytime Minari" Oh God! she blushed, she blushed. She's so cuteee.

"I like that nickname."She said.

"Great, cause only I'm gonna call you that" She blushed even harder. Why is she so cuteee? 

I told her to wait, went and got my polaroid and took a picture of us eating.

"Why do you love taking pictures, Chaeng?"She asked

"I want to remember all of those precious moments forever and preserve the happy times.."I said

"That's some deep stuff" She said while giggling.

"Yeah... " I cracked up too.

We shared the ramen and had her soda's peacefully and enjoyed it. Once we were done, we sat on the sofa, under a blanket, facing each other.

Those eyes would make me go crazy if I looked at them in silence any longer so I broke the silence" So, how was your day?".

She smiled,"Well, the day was pretty much normal till Mr. Kim's period. Once it got over I was about  to come and join y'all, when the new student Park Jimin approached me. Turns out he was a dance major and didn't know where he was supposed to go. Since I had the same class, I took him there. We spoke and turns out he's a really sweet. So when we were given our end of the year submission, the teachers paired me up with him.He's a really good dancer, so I don't mind at all."

Ughhhh, he really gives me the creeps, but as long as he doesn't do anything to her, I have no problem.

"Nice. Let's go and sleep, It's getting late."I replied

We went up and were about to sleep when Mina spoke,"Stay away from Yoongi, Chaeng. He's not good for you."

I didn't move so that it looked like I was asleep, and fell asleep thinking about what she said......
