Lexi ran faster as the ninjas gained speed. She looked behind her when all off a sudden she felt herself falling. Lexi "let's hope this works!!" Lexi yelled as she neared the ground. She started singing something then she hit a certain note she yelled "STOP!!" The world around her froze and Lexi was left hanging in mid-air she quickly put on her headphones and made a stable platform about a foot below her. Usually if somebody resumed time and hit the platform they would die but fortunately for Lexi her power stopped that from happening. Once she resumed the song time resumed to and she hit the platform with a thud. Lexi took several deep breaths to calm her heart down. As she laid on the platform she saw the ninja looking down at her. Lexi smiled and stood up. She continued running and after about 30 minutes of running and freezing time she finally lost them. "Looks like there gone." Lexi whispered to herself. Just then her phone buzzed. She looked at it. It was a text from Kaity. Text below.
Kaity: Hey Lexi!!
Lexi: Hey
Kaity: wanna hang out at my place? Or we can go for a walk in the town.
Lexi: sure let me just notify my Aunt first u know know she is.
Kaity: okay. Hey one more thing.
Lexi: yea?
Kaity: did you get that wierd temp. anomaly thing too?
Lexi: yea it was so weird!!! it was as if the world stopped!
Cause it did!!! Idoiot you know that!!! Lol jk
Kaity: ikr?! Anyway cya later
