I pack my things and looked in the mirror and lifted up my shirt and look at my stomach and started to cry. Then I went over to my desk in my room and started to write about happened in my journal. I started to feel Better. I later put my headphones in and started to sing "love and war" by tamar braxton.

I heard someone come inside house. Read scared cause I'm by myself. My mom always at business trips. I picked up and textbook and went downstairs ready to fight. And I saw my MOM OMG I missed her because I barely see her. I ran and gave a hug and as I did I saw this man come in with bags of his own. I look at my mom with a face.

"Honey this is my boyfriend David " my mom said

"Hi I'm kali I'm your girlfriend's daughter" I said with sarcasm

My mom punch me lightly in my arm. And David laughed.

"I'm sorry you heard about me late your mom was very nervous to introduce Me to you. " David said

(David appearance: tall and brown skin and short curly hair and Bright big smile very muscular )

I calm down and I was fine with their relationship. And my mom could tell by my face relaxing.

"OK Well since it's late I'm going to sleep because I am going to a sleepover at nayla's house " I said

"OK That's cool Baby go sleep I love you " my mom said

"OK love you" I said.

I went upstairs and went to sleep

*next day*

I woke up and checked my phone and saw a text from nayla saying she heading to amayah house.I went to the hallway and saw my mom making breakfast and she never does that.

I whispered to my mom "why you making breakfast?".

"For David " she said smiling.

"Nothing for Me" I said sarcastically

my mother ignored me. I gave her a look and walked away to the hallway bathroom and heard David snoring. I laughed a little to myself. And went and took a shower..after I showered and put on

(Outfit one in the picture) my favorite outfit. And packed clothes for my sleepover.

I told my mom good bye and walk to amayah house I was looking so pretty I don't care if I'm a big girl. As I walking I had my headphones in listening to Beyonce 7/11 after about thirty minutes I can to see amayah older brother playing basketball by himself. I waved and head for he door.

" hey! What's up kali" amayah said

"hey amayah whats up" i said

i walked inside and then saw nayla playing this dancing game on the wii.

"So what are we doing? " I said

"Kali we are going to Give a Makeover and take you to the mall and I know that sound Like some movie type shit But Who cares" amayah said

Nayla and amayah push kali in amayah bedroom and They had a bunch of clothes laid out for her and she try outfits after outfits. Finally They pick this really cute outfit. (In the beginning of the chapter ) and They brought her downstairs and showed it to demarco (amayah older brother )

"You look ight Kali " demarco said.

"Whatever Marco" I said

"But naw for real you look good " demarco said

He gave Me a hug and went in his room. Then walked to the mall. After twenty minutes we got there. Amayah. Got a call from damarco.

"He said him and his friends coming to the mall too " amayah said.

"Yess his friends sexy as f " nayla said

"They are tho " I said with a smile

We went to the food court and we saw Clare

"Oh look it's kali " Clare said.

"It's Me bitch " I said

"Don't get to cocky with Me Kali" she said

"Why Not?" I said

"Because your little crush called you fat But don't Be sad just stop visiting McDonald's. Okay " she said

"Miss Me with the bullshit because I'm fine it's you I'm worried about. With yo HIV. " I said

She got quite and so did her friends.
