I enter the baby's room. Alexander was inside he switch on the light above the crib and the flowers hanging in it began to spin as the room glows with colorful light.

He turn around and approach me as he pull me toward him.

His face harden as he inspect my neck and I know what he saw.

"Nothing happen I killed him" I confessed as a drop of tears roll down my cheek.

What have I become??

I just took someone's life

He hug me.

The next day I woke up Alexander wasn't in bed.

I took a shower then wrapped in my robe.

I let out a huff forgot that my clothes are in my room.

I exit Alexander's room I was so close to turn the door knob of my room when I remember Suzie is staying there.

I place a knock on the door "It's open!" she shouted tiredly.

I open the door and gave her a smile "Good morning" I said.

She return the smile one that didn't reach her eyes I understand she being through a lot.

"Good morning" she said sitting down on the armchair next to the window.

I enter the closet and throw on a rip jeans and a T-shirt then exit the closet putting my hair in a high ponytail.

Suzie was seated at the window staring outside.

"Have you ate breakfast as yet?" I asked concern.

She nodded eyes focus outside I know what she's going through have being there before.

I took a seat on the bed "How old are you?" I asked curious.

"Nineteen" she shortly replied.

I smile "Am twenty three" I stated.

She look at me with a small smile one that's better than before "Your daughter is beautiful" she said.

I smile "You have met her already" I asked.

She nodded "She's cute your so lucky to have an angel" she said pulling her knees up to her chest.

I gave her a small smile it's a pity she doesn't know am not her real mother.

"So do you attend college"  I asked.

She shook her head and rest her chin on her knees her blond hair forming a curtain around her face.

"No I don't have the money" she replied with a sigh.

I sigh "Do you have any family?" I asked.

She shook her head.

"I guess we are on the same boat" I muttered.

She look up at me "You got Alexander and a baby your life is complete" she said.

I shook my head "It's complicated" I stated.

She sigh.

"How do you survive alone your so young" I said.

"I work at a fast food restaurant the income is barely enough to pay my rent and provide my basic needs but am trying" she said with a sigh.

"Until one night I work extra late just to earn more money, on my way home two men kidnapped me and bought me to that awful place" she said her voice shaky as if she's about to cry any time soon.
