Violet slumped down gently with the baby cradled in her arms. Violet's house was quite a tidy one, she liked being organised and clean. But one thing  she liked more was babies. 

'You didn't tell me you had a baby roger! She's so beautiful!' Violet examined the baby's face, it looked so perfect, like it'd been carved by the gods. Violet slid her palms down the quiet babies cheeks as Roger stood upon violet. 

'Well what are you standing there for? Sit down, tell me everything, and...' Violet smirked... 'How you got her'

She was curious, no doubt. 

'Well uh' Roger hesitated.

'Don't be afraid now, tell me EVERYTHING. I'm your best friend... Aren't I?' She whined. 

'Yeah well now you are you old hag, now that i have your liking' Roger muttered under his breath.

'What was that?'

'Nothing! I said it's not MY baby, it's uh... I'm just babysitting, but you know, need money for a house since you...'

'Oh that's right...' Violet gave a sad look. 'So it's not your baby is it? Unlucky' Violet fiddled with the coffee table's plant's leaf, daring herself not to look up at roger's sea-blue eyes, and that's exactly what she did, who could resist them? She looked up at Roger's pleading eyes, Violet could tell he needed this, and he needed the money too. 'Alright then Roger, you can stay here till' you get enough babysitting money to move out' 

'OH THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU, HONESTLY, YOU'RE THE BEST VIOLET!'

The baby's eyes beamed open as Roger went to hug violet.

'Oops'

'Roger look what you did to the baby? Not even sure how you became a babysitter, or why someone could even trust you' Violet picked up the awaken baby, still silent and frozen by Roger's high pitch screams of joy. 'So sorry about that darling, how bout' we get something to eat? You HUNGRY?' Violet cooed, but not in those annoying ways, those lovely gentle voices, she was good with babies, and knew the simple words that they would understand. the word 'HUNGRY' clicked in the baby's head, she nodded. 'Can I come and help?' Roger asked. 'Roger, darling, i'd rather drink toilet water than let my house burn down with your cooking skills' Roger gave a sad look, then looked understanding and slowly walked back to his couch and dramatically slumped down on the couch as if he'd been shot. 

Violet on the other hand, carried the baby into the kitchen, sat her down on a mini chair by the end of the counter, and started to dance her hands around the kitchen tools and by 6 minutes, the result was delicious, mashed up bananas, strawberries, and a hint of watermelon juice smothered in chocolate in a little bowl, just for the baby. She crouched down near her side and dipped a spoon into the bowl and fed the baby, she was not a BIT picky, neither did she turn her head to the food, she ate in delight, which made violet LOVE the baby more than she already did. A smile plastered upon her face, Violets never smiled so happily in 2 years, this baby was a pleasure to have. 'yommy' She slightly squealed after every bite. Violet's bronze eyes widened in surprise, she had eaten the whole bowl, she lifted a blonde strand of her shoulder to her back and washed up the bowl.

'i'm gonna get you!' roger playfully cooed as the baby giggled non-stop. 

Violet was on the other side of the room, yet, she still heard the sounds of overjoyed laughter of the baby, she wanted to know what was going on ; she peered through the corner of the door and saw Roger playing with the baby, what a guy, she thought, she started to feel a tingle of depth in her heart, the kind of depth that you feel when you fall for people. She shook her head, she could never fall in love with Roger, that bastard. But, he was good with children, she watched as the baby rolled around as Roger tickled her and laughed along.
