The provider of souls reviles more information about Marty's powers before disappearing.

The room became light again, and the teacher began talking.

"Please, class open your books to page 394. You can begin reading Sam."

When the class was over the students moved quickly out of the room, when a turbulent child caught Marty by the arm and pulls him to the side.

"I saw what you did in that classroom. Why are the other kids acting as nothing happen? And why were you talking to someone that was not there? You don't fool me Marty Fillmore, but I've got your number. Yeah, that's right, I know what you are."

"So, Billy Cummings, what am I? I don't know what you think you saw, but nothing happened in that room," Marty said while snatching his arm away.

When everyone went to lunch, Marty fled to the woods practicing his powers. Marty focuses his mind and had rabbits and squeakily little creature floating in the air also branches, leaves, and sticks. He cut down trees with beams of light. Marty lost track of time and missed going back to school after lunch. He stayed in the woods until it was almost dark and achieving more than he had expected.

"Now I need to focus and read someones' mind," Marty mumbles to himself. He finally saw it was getting dark, so he dashed off and ran all the way home.

Marty's parents wondered where he was but in fear they didn't say anything. Marty waited at the end of the steps of the staircase to see if his parents were going to say anything. When they didn't, he went upstairs. He stayed in his room and practice more magic.

Meanwhile, his foe, who saw what went on in the classroom and followed Marty in the woods and watched Marty while hiding behind a tree. Then when it got late, he follows Marty back home and lies in wait behind a tree watching a harrowing view, glowing light while objects floating around Marty's room. Billy stayed there until he heard Marty's mom yelled. "Marty cut out that light and go to bed."

Billy ran home. However, Billy's parents weren't so calm when he got back.

"Where have you been young man? You are grounded for the next two weeks," Billy's father yelled as Billy did not say a word. Billy when to bed thinking about all the things he saw.

The next day Billy said nothing to Marty; however, both boys fixated their eyes on one another still nothing was said.

Later after the first period, Marty met Sam in the hallway and asked, "Have you talked to Billy?"

"No, why? Anyway, he's right over there, and he is fixed on you."

"That's what I'm afraid of."

"Again, why?"

"Oh, it's nothing, maybe I'm just paranoid."

"I don't understand, why? I mean it's Billy, the town bully. Who cares what he does. You could beat him if he tries anything."

"Yeah, but that's not the problem," Marty said with fear in his heart. However, Billy was as much afraid of Marty as Marty was fearful of Billy.

"Look, Sam, I need to tell you something, but you have to promise not to tell anyone what I am about to tell you."

"Sure Marty, what is it?"

"Not here, I'll meet behind the lunch building during lunch time."

"Yeah, but yesterday you didn't come back after lunch. I can't do that my parents will kill me."

"Don't worry, It won't take longer than twenty minutes."

"Okay Marty, I'll see you at noon."

As the boys split up, Marty ran into Tommy Cummings, the young boy who has cancer. "Hi, Tommy," Marty spoke and gave Tommy a big hug and walked away. Tommy began to feel better.

The class was let out for lunch and Sam beat Marty to the planned spot, but Marty was a little late because he was busy dodging Billy was watching Marty's every move.

"Sam, you are here."

"Yeah, I've been here for a few. What took you so long?"

"I..., well, that's what I want to talk about. Now before I tell you, you need to keep an open mind."

"Just get on with it, what is it?"

"I am the Grim Reaper, I was placed in a mortal to be born. And ever since I turned thirteen, I have been having problems controlling my powers. Yesterday Billy saw those powers. He said he plans to get the prof to revile my secret."

"Reaper, come on Marty. What comic book have you been reading?"

"Okay I'll show you," Marty said while allowing branches and leaves to float in the air."

"Marty, how did you do that?"
