"Madison Sanders, please report to Dr. Sam's office urgently."

I heard my name being called in the loud speakers. I sighed and grabbed my clipboard, making my way over to Sam's office.

I knocked on his door once, hearing him call me in. I opened the door and saw him sitting at his desk with his glasses on, looking through papers. For a doctor, let me tell you he was pretty young and handsome. He literally had all the girls swooning for him. Me though? Not at all. He has asked me out to dinner though. I just tell him I can't. And I don't plan to.

"Dr. Sam" I nodded my head at him. "Did you call me?" He sighed and placed his glasses on his desk.

"Madison, we've talked about this. Call me Sam. Not Dr. Sam."

"Ok, Samuel." I said amused. He gave me a look and I laughed.

"Alright, have a seat." I made my way over to his desk and sat in the chair opposite his. "I called you because I have some papers of patients I need you to check. See if they are correct with their information and all that. Later today I have a few patients I want you to personally attend." He said while handing me over a folder.

"Alright, is that all?"

"For now, yeah." I nodded and got up.

"Alright. Bye." He waved with a curt nod and I walked out of the door towards the front desk. I sat on my chair and started scanning the papers, sighing at all the work I have to do. Let me tell you, being a nurse has its perks sometimes. Key word: sometimes. I continued scanning through the docomeunts when I heard the front door's bell ring. I kept looking through the documents but greeted the patient.

"Welcome to the Children's hospital. My names is Madison Sanders. How may I help you?"

"Hmm, you can start by looking at my face" I smiled.

"Hey Logan, what are you doing here?"

"Came to stop by and see what you were doing. But by the looks of it, you seem really busy."

"Unfortunately I am." I pouted. He laughed.

"Madison Sanders, what are you doing" I cursed under my breathe and turned around, seeing Sam.

"Um, I'm helping someone out."

"It certainly doesn't sound like it." He said with a blank expression. I gulped.

"I-uh-"

"I'm sorry, this was my fault. I shouldn't have come here and interrupt her job."

"No, Logan-"

"Your right, you certainly shouldn't have."

"Samuel!"

"I told you to call me Sam!"

"Samuel." I repeated. "He just came to see how I was doing!"

"He's being a distraction!"

"He just got here! Stop being mean!"

"Who's being mean?" We all turned around and saw Angel looking at all three of us.

"Um, nobody. Hey honey, how are you?" I walked around my desk and kissed his nose, making him giggle and wrap his tiny arms around my neck.

"I'm amazing! Hi Logan!"

"Hey champ!" Logan gave Angel a high five.

"Great, now he's talking to the kids!" I heard Sam say under his breathe. I turned around and gave him a look. He just shrugged.
