The Big Surprise

,,Are you kidding me, John?!",says Tina as she's slowly walking from behind the couch. We're all looking at the the young lady who's tightly holding John's hand and doesn't know what is going on. John seems he doesn't know either.
,,I, I can explain", he says immediately while letting her hand go, but Tina is walking away anyway, wiping her tears from her face.
,,Tina, wait!", shouts Mary, and quickly runs after her. The rest of us keep just staring at these two.
,,I think, I should better go.", says the girl quietly and quickly walks away.
,,What the hell John?!", I ask. ,,What's going on? Who is she?", John stops me by waving his hand.
Mary rushes back in and starts yelling at John as well: ,,Well, Tina is gone...are you serious?! Who is the hell is this stupid -", at this moment I stop her a look at John. When I'm about to send the other people home and give John a speech about what happened, my phone starts ringing. I'm so angry at the moment that I almost reject it immediately, but then I think of the producer and the movie and quickly pick it up.
,,Hello, am I talking to Joseph Mazzello?", asks me the man on phone.
,,Yes", I say, a little bit more excited than I should be right know.

Meanwhile Mary starts yelling at John again, so I better decide to go to the bathroom, just to make sure that I hear everything clearly.

,,You ruined the whole thing! Do you even know how much effort and time did this party cost me?" Do you realize, how much you've hurt Tina?, yells Mary at him, while I'm walking out of the bathroom with almost tears in my eyes. Mary notices and quickly asks: ,,What happened Joe?!"
,,I've, I've...I've got the job Mary! I'll play in Bohemian Rhapsody!!"
,,Oh my God! That's amazing!", says Mary and hugs me in tears. John apparently doesn't know what's going on, so he comes closer and hugs us as well.

And here we are. Hugging each like kids, standing on spilled confetti, from a surprise party which was a disaster. But even though it didn't end up how we expected, even though we're all mad at John the strange girl,there's some kind of magic on this moment...And of course, I've got the freaking job!
