"Oh shit! I woke up late again" I exclaimed as I jumped out of bed.
It was already 7 and I was supposed to be at the office by 8 and knowing me, I do take a huge amount of time to get ready.
" Who am I kidding," I said chuckling to myself. "I own the freaking place no one is gonna fire me for being late to my own office".
I headed to the bathroom and took well over an hour to shower and get ready as I reached the office at 8:30 and the office was a half an hour drive from my house or should I say my overly expensive penthouse.

"Good morning Danielle" my beautiful secretary Gina said with a big but worried smile on her face. ( No Homo) . " Mr Black is waiting for you in conference room number 2" she added and with that, I could tell what the nervous smile was all about.
Gina was one of the only employees in the office that was allowed to refer to me by my first name as she was an old friend of mine.
" wait, what! I totally forgot about the meeting" I said as I rushed for the elevator.
5th floor and on to conference room number 2 I saw a group of men and women already seated, with my P.A Anderson waiting right outside as if he knew I was going to turn up from the elevator.
I headed over walking calmly and confidently but as soon as I was about to enter the room that confidence was quickly overrun by an immense feeling of collywobbles and not the bad kind. This one was because I had seen him... I had seen Nathan for the first time ever since we graduated high school.
" I can't believe I couldn't tell it was going to be him, I mean I should've at least known from the last name or at least bothered to do a little background check on my clients, "I thought to myself but little did I know I though out loud and Anderson let out a small squeal that quickly turned into him clearing his throat after I gave him a look.
I picked a few papers that Anderson handed over to me and walked into the room and sat down right opposite Nathan.
We discussed matters relating to the contract between Blackinson Corp which was owned by Nathan and Clemonte Corp which was, of course, my company.
throughout the entire meeting, I could feel Nathan's strong stare as I continued to present my part of the agreement and that only made matters worse as I felt an extreme sensation in my tummy each time our eyes met.
"And so with that being said, I believe that the land should be acquired immediately". Mr Black, you may present your proposal." I bluntly said to Nathan but his attention was elsewhere.
"Umm... Mr Black? I called out as he replied "yeah that sounds great " but he seemed to be completely unaware of what I just stated. "Mr Black you may present your proposal" I repeated to him but this time, slower. "Yes, right," he said as he stood up straightening his suit and heading towards the smart board.
during the entire time he spoke, my eyes were focused on his lips. The way they were moving I just wish I could bite on them. I wish I could rub mine against his, cause damn they looked juicy. I also loved the way his broad masculine body fitted into the well-tailored suit, he looked way too sexy and I couldn't handle it
Every single time he turned, I noticed his eyes were focused on me and at some point, we even locked eye contact for more than 20 seconds. I quickly snapped out of it when I realized that all eyes were on us and Nathan let out a quick smirk after he noticed my red cheeks. "Man, wasn't that embarassing," Anderson said jokingly and I softly shoved him on his side. Although Anderson was my P.A I had grown close to him and did I mention he knew who Nathan was and that was exactly why he was provoking me this way.
As the meeting came to an end, Anderson gathered my papers and headed out. I went to talk to a few of the board members and just as I was about to finish and walk out, I felt a firm hand gently grab my arm.
"Dani is it really you," Nathan said in a deep voice. The way he said my name sent shivers through my spine and it took me a while to answer back " why don't we catch up in my office" I said and he looked at me with an arched eyebrow and a sly smirk and I quickly gave him a look implying I knew what he was thinking "I meant to talk"I firmly said. He chuckled and opened the door saying " ladies first". "He was still the same sweet guy I remember," I thought to myself letting out a smile as I walked out.
We reached my office and just as I was about to enter, Anderson gave me a wink with a smile I ignored it but smiled implying I had noticed it.
