"would you like something to drink?" I asked trying my best not to look directly at his eyes
" Coffee. Black with two sugars" He replied maintaining eye contact with me.
" Ok ill call Anderson to get us some coffee," I said while reaching out for the intercom.
" Anderson please bring to my office one black coffee with two sugars and my regular" I briefly said and headed for the couch where Nathan was already seated.
"So, where have you been all these years?" Nathan asked with his eyes deeply rooted to mine
"Well, Got a couple of degrees on my name, dated a couple of ass holes, and here I am now talking to you. Nate." I said with a slight laugh slipping in between. " what about you? are you and Ruth still together?"
"Me and Ruth. Well, that ended right after graduation. She became somewhat too clingy and I decided to end it there before she could start talking about things like having kids because at that point she was already talking about how we'll get married right after college and to be honest, I wasn't ready". He said chuckling at the end.
"To be honest, I have heard quite a lot about you and you know... your little one-nighters," I said while softly shoving him playfully on his hand.
"what do you mean 'one-nighters', those were just some cock hungry sluts and I certainly did not sleep with them," He said letting out a brief nervous laugh.
" Quite hard to believe but whatever you say," I said letting out the first part softly.
We continued talking and it was only when Anderson walked in with our coffee that I realised how close together we were sitting and that Nathan's hands were on my thighs.
"Mhhm" I cleared my throat and with that followed Nathan removing his hand from where it had been.
"Your coffee Dani, and here's your coffee Mr Black," Anderson said as he handed both our coffees to us with a smile.
As soon as Anderson left we went back to our conversation and laughed and talked about what has happened since high school. We caught up on the gossip from each side and shared a bunch of lost contacts before finally exchanging our contacts.
" Wow that was a really interesting conversation," I said happily
"Yeah, quite the highlight of my day," Nathan said chuckling
"well i'm afraid I have to Leave as I have another meeting in 15 minutes," I said while looking at my wristwatch.
" I'm afraid I have to do so too," Nathan said looking at his wrist watch too.
"I'll call you later Dani", he said as he reached the door and winked right before he closed it.
All I could do was sit there and blush to myself. I had missed him so much and I can't believe I talked to him today and he winked at me omg!! I was so happy and couldn't wait for his call tonight.
