"Well, in that case, I have no idea who it is," Nathan speaks in a confused tone, looking around to make his act seem real. "Ryder, do you see anyone?"

"Nah, dude," Ryder simply shrugs his shoulders and rolls his eyes at Brad.

Suddenly, I could feel Brad's anger boiling up which didn't seem like a good sign but he tried to control it.

"Nope, I don't know who you're talking about," Brad rolls his eyes and the infamous smirk appears on Nathan's face. I still wonder when Nathan was born, did he cry or was a smirking at that moment as well.

"What's up, bro," Brad keeps his hand on Nathan's shoulder. He looks up and then back to him.

"A chandelier," He swept Brad's hand away as if it was contaminated and he had a problem with hygiene.

"Guess who's back."

"A bitch from Manhattan," He grunts. The act he had this whole time had now disappeared to an angered one and somehow, it made him look different.

"Well, I don't consider it like a bitch,"

"Well I do, but it would be an insult to a bitch that it's being compared to you." He didn't say it playfully this time too, it was all serious. "Why did you return from Manhattan."

"You know that I have a dad living here."

"It's not like you care about your dad anyway. Oh, wait you should since you're both bitches." I bite my lips trying to stop myself from laughing.

"Shut the fuck up," Brad was about to punch Nathan but he was quick enough to block his hand, practically squeezing his fist. "Hands down asshole." He swiftly drops his hand and Brad rubs his fist.

"Now tell me, why the hell did you return," I could see a mischievous smirk form on Brad's face. "Why should I," His right brow cocks up.

"This is the last time I'm going to ask you," He stops. "Why. the. fuck. did. you. return," He emphasizes each word making it loud and clear.

"Wait and see," He walks backward and turns around giving out a peace sign. "What a bitch," Ryan speaks up.

"Obviously. Been one since the first time I saw him," Nathan's words came out as a whisper but we could still hear it.

Even though the music was blasting loud from the speakers, and people basically blocked the entire view, I was still mesmerized by the dance floor. It was as grand as a ballroom with chandeliers, dark curtains, disco lights, a fancy bar, and loud music. A few couches were sitting still at the corner but they were empty since everyone was on the dance floor.

Brad may be an asshole, but he sure knows how to keep a new year's party.

"You know what, let's forget him. We crashed his party and it's time to enjoy it," Ryder speaks up which we'll agree to.

I don't know where we are going but I'm pretty sure its the bar. As we pass by all I see is drunk people, grinding bodies, drinks, and heavy makeout sessions. I felt weird being here. Everyone looked like they were enjoying and I wanted too but I don't know how I could enjoy since my mind has been clouded with different thoughts.
