Chapter 2: Jeon Jungkook

  I just got into the police building and good lord, everyone is congratulating Yoongi, Summer, and of course D'Nai. I smiled at them also because I'm also happy for them, but sometimes I wish I could be like them. I walked passed them and as I walked past them, D'Nai came over towards me and hit my head with her hand.

  "Hey, you!" D'Nai said. I turned around and looked at her while growling slightly while my hand on my forehead rubbing it and while my ears flattened.

  "Ow!! That hurt ya know!!" D'Nai glared at me as we walked. " You need to learn to be more powerful like me and the rest of the officers. It's not good for you not to be tough." She said in a harsh tone. I sighed at what she said as we walked.

  "I just don't want to talk right now..." I said and started to speed walk away. D'Nai looked at me with wide eyes and looked to the right at Yoongi and my dad with a face that says, 'You should talk to her.' My dad nodded at her, stood up, opened the door and yelled, "(Y/N)!! IN MY OFFICE NOW!!"

  D'Nai covered her ears in pain because of my dads powerful and loud voice and I turned around, groaned in frustration and walked towards him and in his soundproof office.

  "You were supposed to catch that criminal! Not Yoongi!" My dad said as he pounded his hands on the desk and looked at me with anger in his eyes. I growled at my dad and yelled back, " I did have it under control! He came when I was about to get him!" It made me so angry inside of how the others get all the credit for capturing people I get close to catching but I never show it, I don't want people thinking I'm weak, I want them to worry about me. They have more important things to worry about than me. My dad stood up, walked over towards me and looked me in the eyes.

  "If you don't catch someone the next time there's someone to be caught, you will NOT be in this building and working here again. Understood?" He said while looking down at me and have serious all over his face.

  I looked at him with the wide eye, and the mouth opens slightly and looked down with my ears flattened on my head.

  "Yes, sir," I said in my sad voice. My father heard what I said and when to go sit back in his chair.

  "You're dismissed." I nodded a little at my dad and walked out of his office.

  I felt so bad that he said that to me and had to worry about me but this time, the next time, I'll catch them.

  I walked past D'Nai's office, next Summer's, then Yoongi's, and last Hayden's. I really hate that guy and like him at the same time. He's nice, it's just that I have to like him as a friend in secret because my other friend D'Nai hates his guts.

  I walked into my office, took my hat off, closed the door, put my hat on the desk and sat down in my chair with my hands on my forehead. I need to do better. I just got to. I have to prove to everyone that I'm not just a useless cat hybrid.

  While I had my head in my hands, I heard some talking outside my office so I stood up and opened my door to see what all this chatter was all about.

  I looked outside and smiled slightly as I saw what everyone was talking about and who they were talking too. It was Jeon Jungkook!!

  He was the best and most popular policeman at this building plus the most handsome. Every girl wanted him, well not everyone. Summer didn't. I saw D'Nai walking with Jungkook while talking to him and Summer on the other side of him with Chris on the other side of her.

  I saw them starting to walk my way and panicked slightly because I didn't know if they were coming towards me or the break room that's behind my office so I got back in my room, closed the door quietly so they wouldn't know I was watching them and sat back in my chair and acted as if I was doing work but then I looked out the corner of my eye and what I saw made my eyes widen and could possibly make me burst in shock and fear. It seems that the others left and Jungkook was the only one there and the. Jeon Jungkook, looked at me through my see-through glass door.
