Chapter three

I AM SO SO SO SORRY!!! I THOUGHT I PUBLISHED THIS A LONG TIME AGOOOOO, NOW THAT I FINALLY LOOKED AT IT, I REALIZED THAT I DIDN'T. SO ONCE AGAIN, I AM SO TERRIBLY SORRY.

"Shall we get started with practice?" Daichi asked.
"Mhm! Definitely, I just need to change then I'll be with you. So please, start. I do not wish to hold you back." Then I go to get changed.
"Are you sure she can keep up?" Tsukishima asked in a cocky tone.
"If the principle agreed, I would think." Yamaguchi nervously said, trying to calm Tsukishima down. Just then, coach Ukai walked in, unaware that there was a lady in the changing room.

"Alright guys, what's the hold up!?" He said with his voice raised, frustrated that the boys were not practicing. While his back was turned, the girl walked into the gym. Ukai turned to see who was at the door and I just waved at him with a big smile, knowing who he was.
"Who are ya? And why are ya here?" He questioned me.
"I am Y/f/n and I'm here for practice?"
"Y'know this is the guys gym, right?"
"I am well aware, I was told I would be a part of the boys team by my father." I say handing him the letter. The way he looked at me was quite laughable, it was like I had three heads. He looked over the letter, and gave a small chuckle. He held out his hand.
"Well, welcome to the team." I grab his hand.
"Thank you for having me!"

Once the nets were set up we started practice. We started off with some ball warm ups (which is basically just stretching with a ball and with a partner). The person that decided to stretch with me was Sugawara. He is probably one of the nicest on the team!- scratch that- he is the nicest on the team! Which is probably the reason behind warming up with me. We do our stretches and then we start to rally, which is really easy with him cause he has so much control, and it's easy to keep in play, which also makes it more fun. After a few minutes of rallying, start playing pepper. (which is where you have a ball, player A starts with a nice toss to the player B, player B bumps it, then A sets it, and the B smashes it, and so on and so forth) he gives a nice toss, I give him a controlled bump, I see the set coming, and my body moves on its own. I bend my knees, and jump. I smash the ball right at Sugawara. It hits him in the chest and he falls over. I land gracefully on my toes, after a few seconds I realized everyone had stopped what they were doing and was looking at me, on my toes, knees bent, and Sugawara, on his back having a hard time breathing. I run up to him asking if he was okay. Fortunately, he just got the wind knocked out of him. I turn my head to see Hinata looking at me with stars in his eyes.
"(Y-yn)! That was sooo cool!! No wonder you're on the guys team!!" Exclaimed Hinata.
"I-it really wasn't anything special! I almost hurt him for fucks sakes!" Even though I said that Hinata is still looking at me like I'm food! I turn my head a little bit more, and there I see Kageyama, looking at me with the same kind of eyes as Hinata. I look back at Sugawara and help him up.
"I am so, so sorry! I didn't mean to, my body moved on its own and I'm sorry!" I ramble as I bow my head.
"I-I ummm, don't worry about it! It's no big deal!" I stop bowing and look at him.
"Once again I am so sorry. C-can we get back to practice?" With everyone still looking at me, Daichi makes the first move.
"Alright! Get to it! Let's do some hitting." That time it was my turn to have stars in my eyes.
"What am I doing!? Can I hit now and set later?!" I ask excitedly while looking at coach Ukai.
"I mean, I'd be nice to see what you do, so sure." I pump my fists in the air,
"Yesssss!" Kageyama goes up to set, cause he's obviously setter, duhhh. Coach Ukai tossed the ball to Kageyama and he set it, the first person to hit the ball was Hinata. They did their quick, and just by looking at it, I know it's almost completely Kageyama that is doing all the work in the spike. Hinata just needs to be there and swing his arm, I also noticed his eyes were closed. I muffle my laugh that accidentally slips, and Daichi next to me noticed my laugh and asked why I was laughing. I straight up told him the truth and said his eyes are closed. He chuckled,
"You noticed it quicker then the rest of us did." My turn came around very quickly, and I was nervous that they would be disappointed with how I hit. The person in front of me was Asahi, ahaha... Way to make me look bad by being after the ace. I scratch the back of my neck in my mind. He jumps up and hits it down the line with so much force. I smile, cause I know I can beat that... Or I can try, he has two people to worry about now, hehehe.

It's now my turn to hit. Get ready and watch this Asahi. I look at Kageyama and say with the passion in my eyes, for a slightly lower, and faster set. He looks at me. A setter and a hitter don't usually communicate through words, since when in a game you can't really say what you're thinking because the opposing team will know what you're doing and will stop you, so through his eyes, and body language, I knew that he was perfectly fine with doing a shoot. Coach Ukai tossed the ball to Kageyama, I started my approach slowly. Left. Right, left. I could feel people questioning why I started my approach so early, but I dismissed it. Kageyama had set a perfect set, right where I wanted it. (actually it would be a bit higher then what you want, because well, gravity and time... Duhhhh. But whatever) I jumped, it almost seemed impossible because of how high I jumped. I am taller then Hinata, so even if we have the same jump capability, mine will always be height because of my height. The ball is right where I need it. My arm, already in a hitting position, slams it down. As I hit the ball, my body moves with my arm to give me so much more power. BOOM!!

The only noise in this whole gym, is the sound of my ball bouncing on the floor.

I. Am. So. Sorry. For. The. Cliffhanger. Butttttttttttttt I have reasoning! I really wanted this moment to be remembered, and important. Because this is the moment that you really, and truly get accepted into the team. Therefore, it'll be more memorable! One other thing, I use a shit ton of commas (,). If anyone thinks that I use to much commas, please let me know and I'll change that. With that being said, Thank you for reading this chapter!
