Chapter 14

Kehlani

I looked at him with so much hurt and anger, I couldn't even find the right words to say..

"what are we doing Chris...I don't want this..at all, I just want my best friend back" I looked down

"Alr but we gotta start over Lani" He pulled me into a hug 

"Just like old times" I smiled

"Yep" he smiled back slightly

3 months later

"Mama J you have to take it" I followed her into the kitchen

"Noo I don't need it, you and Chris need to stop treating me like i'm a 5 year old, with that baby your carrying I should be treating you like a 5 year old" she sighed

"I'm fine mama I swear, I just wanna take care of you" I sighed also, if your wondering no the baby isn't Chris', it's my ex boyfriends child, when chris found out he was acting off but he slowly just accepted it, I'm currently 5 months.

"No Lani, go rest" she rubbed my shoulder

"Ok fine but take your meds mama" I smiled

"I will!" she smirked

"Mama you know you ain't gon' take it" Chris walked in and hugged his mom, we did our best friend handshake and laughed at the end of it.

"How was your day?" He asked leaning on the wall and looking directly into my eyes

"Chris don't stare at me like that" I chuckled

"Sorry" he smiled, mama J silently laughed and gave me a thumbs up and I shook my head

"Your crazy" I laughed and she left

"Why am I crazy?" Chris asked confused

"What?" I said 

"You said your crazy" he chuckled

"OH no no I was talking to..myself, your crazy Kehlani...You know?" I blinked

"Righttt, so how was your day?" He nodded

"Boring" I sighed

"Well mine was the opposite" he cheesed

"Why you got your dick wet?" I smirked

"I need that...but no, I'm talking to someone right now, I mean she fine and shit but i'm tryna get to know shorty" He bite his lip

"CHRIS!" I shouted

"What!?" he asked alarmed

"Did you hear that?" I gasped

"Hear what?! what??" He panicked

"Your not being a hoe!" I gasped loudly and laughed and he glared at me

"ok I'm sorry, but for real your not being a hoe for once" I smirked at him

"Yea yea very funny, I hope we work out though" he shrugged

"Yea then I can finally marry you off" I sighed

"oh so your tryna get rid of me Lani?" He lifted my chin

"Yes" I smirked, he sucked his teeth and rolled his eyes at me

"Hows my nephew in there?" He rubbed my stomach

"Chris, it's a girl" I crossed my arms

"Your tryna make my nephew transgender? damn ma that's what we-" I mushed his face and he laughed

"Anyway I got these new outfits I want you to rate" I cheesed really hard before dragging him upstairs and into my room, I led him to my bed and sat him down. I ran into my closet getting the first outfit, I layed it on my desk chair and began undressing to my bra and panties. I looked up and saw Chris staring. I raised a brow before wearing the tight fitted black dress, I spun around and landed in his arms, I smiled.

"How it look?" I got off him and posed and he chuckled

"It's cute.." he shrugged

"But?" I raised my brow

"But I don't know where you think your going with that short shit on" He asked

"Chris, I'm going to have fun with my friends" I sighed

"You have friends?? since when" he asked

"Fuck you" I took the dress of and came face to face with Chris and I jumped

"Aw shit you scared me you asshole" I hit his chest, then there was silence..I looked up at him and realized he was staring again. 

"Stop staring Chris" I turned and walked into my closet to get the last outfit

I actually couldn't help it, she was so beautiful and this friend shit, i wasn't doing so well. How could I be when a few months ago we were fucking and making love.

"Im ready" she smiled coming out in some shorts and a crop top with a white visor

"That's cute too, no buts this time"I chuckled

"Yay!" she jumped up, making her breasts shake, I swallowed the lump in my throat and fake smiled

"CHIRS!" I tuned my surroundings back in

"Yh baby?...I mean shit..Yes?" I shook my head looking down

"..Are you ok?" she asked concerned

"yea..yea I'm good..uh just uh..Im gonna go out, i'll back soon" I was about to walk out but she grabbed my arm and was gonna say something but i gently pulled my arm away and left. I got nin my jeep and began driving around. It's hurting me so badly, I-I just can't do it. I love her so much and it's breaking me emotionally, a call from her came in and I hesitantly answered.

"CHRIS! I know your upset right now but Tyler proposed!" she screamed in happiness, I slammed the brake staring at my phone with shock,anger,sadness you name it. 

"Chris?...Hello??.....Chr-" I hung up and blinked, I slammed the stirring wheel and sat back, a tear rolled down my face. I wanted to be the one to do it..not him. I drove back to the house and got out wiping my eyes, I opened the door and saw her, I put a fake smile on.

"Are you ok?" she asked

"I'm fine Kehlani, I told u that, Im happy for you" I pulled her into a hug, I held her really close to me, putting my face close to her neck, I took in her wonderful scent and breathed out on her neck, I slightly opened my getting ready to attach my lips to her neck but I stopped. i pulled away from the hug and stared at her.

"He proposed huh?" I sniffed 

"Yea he did..you dont seem to happy Chr-" I cut her off

"I'm fine Kehlani!" i shouted

"I-I'm sorry" she kept quiet

"Sorry I just uh, my head hurts really badly" I lied

"That's ok.." she looked away from me

"Everything ok here?" Mama came in and I looked at her with a sad look

"Mama, Tyler proposed" Lani cheesed

"aww that's lovely my dear, I wanna help with the food at the wedding" mama smiled and lani cheesed more. I grabbed her arm and pulled her upstairs

"Chris slow down" she said but i didn't, I needed to know one more thing, I opened the room door and pushed her in it and closed the door, I pinned her on the wall and grabbed her face kissing her, she squirmed before pushing me off her and slapping me...hard." I held my cheek looking down listening to her panting

"DON'T EVER TOUCH ME AGAIN!" she yelled

"Kehlan-" She cut me off

"NO, GET OUT!" She yelled, Now i know what I wanted to know, she doesn't love me anymore. I forced myself of her and now she hates me...
