I can't believe we're moving, far away from the big city, to a town where a father beating on their daughter is totally legal! This is ridicules! Maddie's family was moving to a town called Micormick, where Maddie's father was supposed to be the new mayor, for Maddie this was the worst thing in the world Maddie had never been had a friend or been aloud to go to school in the city, her family treated her like a slave life was ridiculous for her. When they moved Maddie had to ride in the truck with the furniture.
