"No, no. Absolutely not. Jimin isn't going anywhere near that prick."
"Yoongi-"
"No, Jimin." Yoongi said heatedly, shaking his head. "I'm not going to let you put yourself in the same kind of danger you've worked so hard to get out of. It's not happening."
Jimin looked down at his lap, biting anxiously at the inside of his cheek.
"Yoongi, Jimin, I'm sorry. I don't like this either, but this may be the only way we have a shot at busting this dickhead."
"N-"
"Yoongi! Just-" Jimin yelled finally, closing his eyes and sighing through his nose. "Just let me think."
Yoongi's jaw dropped open, looking up from the phone to Jimin in shock. "You're not actually considering doing this, are you?"
The younger uneasily brushed him off and turned back to the phone. "Jungkook...if I do this, do we have a chance of convicting him?"
Jungkook thought for a moment before answering.
"If you don't give yourself away right off the bat, then I would say yes. There is a good chance."
Yoongi scoffed, shaking his head. "C'mon, Jungkook, you know this is a bad idea. Sending him into the same room with the asshole that put him into this situation and has tried to kill him more than once? You're insane if you think I'm just going to let-"
"Hyung, I don't think it's your choice. It's his." Jungkook pointed out, Yoongi falling into stunned silence.
"Jungkook...it's alright. He's just worried. We all are." Jimin looked up into Yoongi's frustrated eyes, telling him a mental I'm sorry.
Jimin sighed again, reaching over to hold Yoongi's hand to try and calm him down, but the older slipped his hand away from his grasp. Averting his eyes from the Yoongi in front of him growing more angry by the second, Jimin shakily picked up the phone, ignoring how much Yoongi not holding his hand hurt him and needing something to hold onto, if not Yoongi.
"Just let me think about it for a little, okay?" Jimin said into the phone, his voice wavering.
They both heard Jungkook sigh on the other end of the line. "Okay, take your time and call me when you've reached your decision."
"Thank you. Goodbye, Jungkook."
"Goodbye, Jimin."
The silence in the room after the call ended was nothing like Jimin had ever experienced in Yoongi's presence.
Normally, silence with Yoongi was warm and comfortable, but this silence cold and tense and scary.
"Yoongi-"
"No."
"Yoongi, please just hear me out-"
Yoongi laughed bitterly, shaking his head. "No, no I won't because every version of what you have to say is all just you justifying putting yourself in harm's way. For what? A chance at putting him in jail? Or a chance at you getting seriously hurt, or worse, as a result of this stupid ass plan?"
"There is a chance for me to finally get justice-"
"At what cost, Jimin?! You will be in a room with Daehyun, alone. By the time we get there, who knows what he'd have done to you?" Yoongi said louder, overpowering Jimin's still-soft voice.
Jimin looked down at his lap. "It's a chance I have to take. I can't just stay here forever, being scared to walk outside for fear of seeing him."
Yoongi stood up, running a hand through his fluffy hair. "Then let's move. Somewhere. Anywhere, Jimin!"
