Two twin boys wake up with bitterness and dread. This had become routine for them ever since people kept knocking them down. They didn't look like regular people and that made them prime targets of bullying. They had long bangs swept to the right side of their faces and short brown hair, but what made them odd was their grey skin and the older twin's ruby red eyes. The cat like slit in their eyes and their powers only made everything worse. Not only were they mocked and bullied, they were also severely hated and demonized for being 'Demons'. The younger would be targeted for his height and demeanour as well. A mere 4'7" in comparison to his twin's 7'6", not to mention a lot quieter and meeker than his brother. It was much easier to pin blame on him for mistakes rather than his taller counterpart.
The boys got up and tiredly got ready for the hell that is high school. They wore their typical dark grey hoodies with the sleeves rolled up to their elbows, maroon jeans, white ankle socks, and black converse. The twins tried to mentally prepare for the onslaught of their final year. One more year. Just one more year of suffering before they could finally leave that shithole of a school.
They finally went down to get breakfast. At least, the younger twin would. They passed several of their brothers and their few sisters as they headed down. They quickly arrived at the cramped and slightly run down kitchen of their little house. The older twin waited impatiently, glaring at his younger counterpart. Said younger counterpart refused to maintain eye contact with his twin and ate his small breakfast as quickly as possible. Though it wasn't particularly filling it was far better than nothing. Stray tears fell from the shorter twin's eyes. He angrily wiped them away, he had no need for sadness, it'd just make things even worse than they already are.
"John hurry the fuck up!" The taller twin growled. John simply complied, just wanting to breeze through this school year of torture.
The twins marched to school. They acted as though the owned the place the moment they arrived. The boys had gained a reputation among the neighbourhood. They'd been often pushed to the brink of their sanity to the point where they'd snap if pushed to far. The twins had been pushed over the edge one too many times; they had been dubbed 'The Murder Twins' despite there being no actual evidence against them other than eye witnesses, which weren't very reliable especially since most of them already had bed relationships with the boys. Still, the two ended up as some sort of legend to local police. A 'what if' case that shook new recruits to their core. Killers that couldn't be caught.
The older twin immediately went for his locker to grab his stuff. As he passed people, he overheard some muttering. Some of it was out of fear, and others were name calling and mockery. He grabbed his stuff bitterly and made sure to slam his locker shut in warning to the people around him. He walked to class in silence. When he appeared in class the teacher yelped in fear.
"K-Killeaze! R-Right on time!" The man stuttered. Kill glared at the man as he took his seat. While this was happening John was wandering the halls. He didn't quite care for his classes. He heard whispers as he passed. He twitched slightly as they made themselves a bit louder for him to hear.
John was much easier to make snap. He had things far far worse than Kill. Every single thing he did was heavily critisized by both staff and students. He'd be constantly described as the 'inadequate twin' in loud passing whispers. He was mocked everyday for his height. As well as blamed and punished for mistakes he never even made. Having to deal with that each day for years broke his mind beyond repair, and with each year he endured the shorter his fuse became. It made it quite easy to push him to his breaking point.
As John was about to break he spotted an unfamiliar girl. She wandered around, seemingly lost and panicking. He was at his limit with bullies, yet he approached her. Though he was nervous she'd be just like them.
"H-Hi..... A-Are you new?" He asked as he fidgeted with his hoodie pocket. She turned around.
