Before this book starts, I just want to say that in some chapters I may make Queen or BTS references because I ABSOLUTELY LOVE those band. Also Kate and Scott's last names last names are based off of Brian May and Roger Taylor.
Fair warning this story is shit.

Katherine "Kate" May
Katherine, better known as Kate to her family and friends, is a 19 year old college student, who attends a college party where she meets Michael Scott Taylor. Little does she know that one party will change her whole life in a matter of seconds.

Michael Scott Taylor
Scott Taylor, where do you begin beginning, middle or the end. Scott was abandoned by his father at a young age. He was raised by his alcoholic mother and started doing drugs by the time he was 16. By the time he was 18, he had been in jail 6 times. Eventually he got himself back on track or did he? After staying clean for about 4 years he meets a girl, Kate, a girl who will change his life, for better or for worse.

Susan Taylor
Scott's mother, who was left by her husband 3 years after Scott's birth, leaving her to raise Scott and Scott's younger brother Carlos. She fell into deep depression and turned to alcohol. She never recovered, which is what caused her oldest son to turn to alcohol and drugs. She was often abusive toward both her son's. Throughout this book she is shown to regret what she did to Scott, as she sees that her choices not only affected her but her son aswell.

Jonathan Taylor
Jonathan Taylor is the younger brother of Scott. He never got to meet his father due to the fact his father left 3 months after his birth. He was abused by his mother at an early age. His older brother, Scott, would protect him, which would usually end in Scott getting beat up. He grew up to be successful more so than his older brother. After years of a sad life, he finds a way to escape all of that by moving away to attend school in New York. There's only one problem: his dysfunctional family. Will he take the chance to move away from this hell hole or stay with the family he loves but so desperately wants to get away from?
