Father runs up the stairs close to Queen Jisoo and quickly takes his sword out .
" if you wish to live , go on your way " Father warns
An assassin scoffs
" as if that would scare us , attack!! " the assassin yells
Father looks at the palace guards, who were waiting for fathers orders .
" everyone must protect the queen! " he yells to the palace guards
The assassin's came again , and now they are coming for Queen Jisoo . Father's job is to keep her safe no matter what . Some of the assassin's shoot their arrows at the palace guards . They fall down onto the ground slowly dropping their swords . Father looks at the lifeless bodies of the palace guards and sighs a bit as he turns his attention back to the assassin's that were going towards his way . Father slashes his sword into the assassin's stomach , blood splattered everywhere . Queen Jisoo's eyes go wide as an assassin comes flying towards her . The assassin swings his sword back getting ready to aim for her , until Father slashes his sword onto the assassin's back making the assassin vomit blood as he drops down onto the floor . Father looks at you . The only thing that was heard was the swords clinging onto each other , and blood splattering .
" daughter , you must do what I say " Father starts
" take Queen Jisoo far away from here , protect her if needed. You must not come in here until we find you " Father say's
You nod hesitantly and quickly make your way to Queen Jisoo who looks scared . You hold onto her arm
" your Highness , we must go far from here " You tell her as you help her up
She nods . You take your sword out as both of you run out of the palace holding hands . No one noticed you guys leaving . Queen Jisoo holds onto your hand tightly as you guys run as quick as possible . You were leading the way as you were told from your father . The only place you could think of was the woods . It was far from the palace .
You take your coat off and place it on the ground as you help Queen Jisoo sit on the grass . Queen Jisoo had tears slowly rolling down her cheeks .
You bent dowb to her and slowly put your hand on her shoulder getting her attention .
" everything will be fine your Highness . The only thing you can do right now is calm down... " you said trying to calm her down
" my father always gave me advice for occasions like this . Right now you should think positively and forget the negatively , that can help you calm your mind " I said
The tears were still rolling down Queen Jisoo's cheeks . She was scared but mainly worried . A noise was then heard . It was the sound of leafs cracking fron footsteps . You quickly stand up and take your sword out.
You look around trying to find where the noise was coming from .
" who's there? Show yourself " you said
Suddenly a assassin covering half of his face only showing his eyes comes running to Queen Jisoo's direction as he was swinging his sword back getting ready to kill her . You gasp slightly and quickly go infront of Queen Jisoo before he can get to her . Your sword clings onto the assassin's sword . You couldn't move much so you kicked the assassin's shin he winces in pain but doesn't give up . He swings his sword to your arm as he cuts it . You wanted to wince in pain, but you couldn't , atleast not right now . The only thing that matters at this point was to keep Queen Jisoo alive , even if you have to risk your life . You swing your sword to the assassin's arm that had the sword and cut his arm . He quickly drops his sword holding onto his arm , and you take the chance to slash your sword into the assassin's stomach . The assassin's eye's go wide in shock , as blood splatters into your face . He drops onto his knees as he vomits blood and falls down .
Your eyes go wide slightly as you slowly drop your sword in shock . This was the first time you ever killed someone .
You look at the assassin's dead body . You fall onto your knee's next to Queen Jisoo as you look blankly at the lifeless body of the assassin .
A lump was on your throat, but you didn't want to cry . You then look at your hand , it was covered with blood from your arm . Blood was running down your arm . Queen Jisoo looks at your arm and gasps slightly. She noticed how you were shock from how you killed an assassin . She understood why , you were young . You knew how to use a sword very well , but you never thought you could kill someone with your skills .
Suddenly Queen Jisoo felt her eyes become watery again . She felt hurt from looking at the way you just stared at the lifeless body , she was worried . Queen Jisoo didn't like it when you got hurt . Her heart was hurting. Queen Jisoo hugs you , and it was silent .
The only thing that was heard was Queen Jisoo's small cries and the wind blowing . That was until the cracking noise of the leafs were heard again . Queen Jisoo pulls you closer to her worriedly.
" your Highness" A palace guard say's
It wasn't your father . It was another guard , that made your heart skip a beat .
" let's get you back to the palace " he said helping Queen Jisoo up
As you guys were getting closer to the palace your heart beated faster. You walk in the palace . There was lots of dead bodies on the ground . Your eyes wandered everywhere hoping you wouldn't see your father .
But unfortunately luck wasn't on your side . You see your father's body on the ground , his lifeless eyes looking at the sky . Your eyes go wide as you quickly run to his body , your eyes began to water .
Your father is gone . That was the only thing that went through your head .
Tears roll down your eyes as you look at your father's lifeless body .
" father... " you cried
Queen Jisoo looks at your father's lifeless body. He's gone. The most trusted general guard was gone . Your father was gone.
Queen Jisoo looks at you as you cried holding his hand . The pain in her chest was back. Her eyes began to water .
Queen Jisoo knew how important your dad was to you . Queen Jisoo falls onto her knees holding onto her chest , the palace guard quickly bends down next to her
" your Highness--- "
" general Kim , your siblings are having tea . They're waiting for you " the servant interrupted the memory
You don't look back at her
" I'll be there " you replie as you blink the tears away that were coming
You put fathers sword back into it's case . You turn your heel and walk to where your siblings were gathered up .
" you're late " Miyoung say's
You look at Miyoung as you sit down next to MiJin
" I apologize " You said
" no need to apologize younger sister . We know that your busy " Mijun say's we a small smile
" yeah , we are thankful you actually came to meet with us " Midam say's
You smile slightly
" I apologize again for not coming here often ... Why don't we catch up with each other " you suggest
The servant pours me a cup of tea , you take a sip and look at Mijun
" Mijun , how is your wife doing? " you ask him
Mijun smiles at you from bringing his wife up .
" she's doing fine , she hopes to meet up with you again " Mijun informs with a big smile
" tell her I'll meet up with her soon when I have time " You tell Mijun , he nods
" I will " he replied
You guys begin to talk and laugh with each other as you and your siblings catch up with each other .
