"I know right! She doesn't even like him! She's just using him everyone knows in the end he's going to be heartbroken because of her" I say with a scowl.

"Yeah. I wish I were her though she can actually get guys, we can't," says Kaitlyn from the other line of the phone.

"We were supposed to be together. Marc and I," I say with a frown. I missed him so much, we don't even hang out anymore because of her.

"Look Chloe, Olivia's just a bitch. You can't show her you care then she knows she won. But as for Marc, just move on," those words are so familiar.

"I know, I'm trying. I have to go lots of homework to do. I'll talk to you later ok," I say just wanting some time to myself to think.

" I understand, bye," and with that Kaitlyn hangs up.

All day I think about Marc. we've been bestfriends since 3rd grade and for him to ignore is so strange. We used to talk behind Olivia's back, share secrets about her no one else knew. Now he's dating her, his whole world switched around. Every time of the day, Olivia wants me, I have to go Olivia needs me. Olivia even had the nerve to come to me and tell me that I couldn't see my bestfriend anymore.

I've always liked Marc, since 7th grade when I got hurt during my soccer game and he carried me to his house to clean me up.

I look at my bedside table clock. It read 7:59 p.m., time to take Nancy for a walk. I ran down the stairs and called Nancy. Once I got her fully leashed I started out to the park. Since it was about 8 at night it was pretty dark, so I couldn't exactly see where I was going. Nancy started growling at the darkness. I stopped dead in my tracks. Nancy never growled only at strange people in the house she didn't know.

I started walking back the way I came when I heard his voice. Why did he have to know that I walk Nancy at 8 every night to the park.

Then he said, "I've missed you."
